Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Besleney, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Russian, Circassian and Turkish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:56, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Inal the Great did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

or in the visual editor:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Describe what you changed

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences Editing Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 08:37, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Liptink0. Thank you for your work on Samir Khotko. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not yet ready for main space. Since it falls under WP:BLP, please add sources and footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source. Please also establish notability as per WP:BIO. I will be moving it to draft. Please feel free to republish once it meets the above criteria. Thanks and have a great day!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Mariamnei (talk) 06:49, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

{{Re|Mariamnei}} Hi, I added the sources in the draft page. And I think Samir Khotko meets Academic Notability criteria as a highly infleuntial scholar in Circassian and Mamluk history for following reasons: specifically criterion 1, due to his significant impact on the study of Circassian history and ethnology. As a Doctor of Historical Sciences and author of over ten monographs, his extensive research on the Circassian Mamluks and regional ethnogenesis is widely published and serves as a foundational source in Caucasian studies. Also his work as a scriptwriter and compiler of historical documents shows a prominent impact both within and outside academia (criterion 7). Even inside of Wikipedia, he can be interlinked, especially for his Inal theory. Additionaly, Russian Wikipedia already has his page. Liptink0 (talk) 11:29, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
