Your vote

Your recent vote in the survey was formatted a bit strangely. You should do this as a separate paragraph/comment, not a reply to another comment.

Additionally, I suspect you may have made a mistake reading the survey options you filled in 2, but your vote might indicate a preference for 1. You should clarify this. Slomo666 (talk) 16:52, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

yeah i was trying to reply to the original post but there was no reply button, how do i format this? LoganStylus (talk) 14:54, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
You use the edit button and then do/don't indent as much as needed. You can use * to make a bullet if you want. ( I am also new to this and not exactly sure where to find the pages for this, but there are many manuals like WP:MOS and WP:help)Slomo666 (talk) 22:40, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
ah ok ill do that, its kinda annoying having to do everything by source without visual but its whatever LoganStylus (talk) 14:48, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
Yeah I agree. The visual editor not working on talk pages is a pain. Slomo666 (talk) 15:10, 31 October 2025 (UTC)

Green Party of Canada

Hello. You recently reverted my revert without an explanation. The source you provided doesn't provide evidence as to the party's ideology, because it is about the public perceptions of party positions, which is something worth including in the ideology section (the Progressive Slovakia page does something similar), but shouldn't be reflected in the infobox, where something like a news article or scholarly source is needed. Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:X (social network) are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a search engine, a chatbot, or a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. GSK (talkedits) 19:04, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
