Talk page: Madison Pettis

Why have you reverted my two edits on Talk:Madison Pettis? Most notable roles and personal life. ~2026-11867-32 (talk) 20:02, 22 February 2026 (UTC)

~2026-11867-32 Don't know if this ping is gonna work or not, as I haven't tried it with temporary accounts. Most notable roles seemed legit as a talk page request or discussion, so I restored that. Personal life appeared to be worded like a forum post, which is against talk page rules. MPFitz1968 (talk) 20:08, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
I was suggesting what should be added to her article. ~2026-11867-32 (talk) 21:49, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
Most notable roles and personal life. Give me a reply on those topics, please. ~2026-13849-32 (talk) 17:17, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Andi Mack

You're like the only one I can ask questions currently, with IJBall no longer being active here and Geraldo Perez being on a mental break. What do you think? Is the "series about families" category defining or not? See latest edits. All shows have families in them, but is the show about families or just a show with families? We had a similar discussion once on, I believe, Liv and Maddie, where IJBall said it was a show with twins, but not about twins. I remember IJBall saying that last part. @Amaury: I'm actually having trouble with the distinction, though for Andi Mack as well as for Liv and Maddie, it's shows about individual teenagers and their lives. Family is only one part of that. But given my understanding of what I just said, I'd tend to side with IJBall's stand on this issue. MPFitz1968 (talk) 01:01, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
Might wanna run another somewhat related bit by you regarding certain other categories, because I was dealing with a disruptive editor that was adding categories like Category:Disney people and Category:Nickelodeon people to articles for actors/actresses who were in shows on these said networks (kept reverting my reverts). I am still feeling these are non-defining characteristics for these actors/actresses, as their careers expand well beyond Disney or Nickelodeon. I eventually caved in and added the categories, but with some regret.
I'm currently watching another series with Cree Cicchino in it; she's in Fox's Best Medicine, which I'm catching on Hulu, but I still watch her run on Game Shakers, and I know she was in a series on Netflix, and in a movie that runs on HBO Max. But does that mean we categorize her under Nickelodeon people; I'm not thinking so ... not unless we add categories about Netflix people, HBO Max people, and FOX people as well. That's even more confusing. What even is a Nickelodeon or Disney Channel person? Almost nobody in the business is going to remain at the same network forever. Amaury • 01:41, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
@Amaury: This is an example of what I'm talking about regarding a disruptive editor (adding the Nickelodeon people category to the article for Erin Sanders). Simply on the basis of block evasion, this should be reverted, and I could do it for that reason (and very likely will), but all that will happen is they will keep adding it back (check the article's history).
