Improving sourcing
Hi @M Waleed! I ran across a few unreliable sources cited in some articles related to Ukraine and Russia, and I'm working on raising awareness about them to support improving verifiability - see MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist#Blackmail/manipulation_websites. I wanted to reach out because it looks like you've cited the following sites a few times: antikor.com.ua (see spamcheck:antikor.com.ua) and antikor.info (spamcheck:antikor.info). These appear to be pay-to-play/blackmail websites, as documented by Intelligence Online - see Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (Wikipedia Library links) - so I'd encourage not citing them going forward. I'm hoping other editors can help me with reviewing the existing citations to those sites and replacing them with more reliable alternatives. Dreamyshade (talk) 04:14, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for bringing my attention to this matter, I did not know anything about this matter beforehand and anything of that sorts on my part was purely accidental 𐤌𐤋𐤊 Waleed (🗽) 05:01, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- Oh yes, sorry, I'm definitely assuming good faith. These kinds of websites are very tricky, because they publish a confusing mix of true material and false material. Dreamyshade (talk) 05:09, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
