Information icon Hello, I'm Cadddr. An edit that you recently made to India–Israel relations seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In addition, the edit clearly contained original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Thank you. Cadddr (talk) 06:47, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Cadddr (talk) 07:02, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

The source you stated was incorrect was real, but the URL was incorrect. It was replaced with the correct URL. MediateOffice (talk) 07:04, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
You changed the source to a completely different one from a different news outlet. The original source you cited ("Strategic Autonomy 2.0: India's high-stakes gamble in the Gulf" in The Times of India) doesn't seem to exist in any form. That suggests to me that you aren't following Wikipedia's guidelines about using AI: Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models. Cadddr (talk) 07:09, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
The text and the URL are valid. It's not an edit war because I fixed the URL you were questioning, which is the point of the revert as you had written at the time. I will ensure that I follow the guide nevertheless. MediateOffice (talk) 07:12, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
I was using the citation as evidence of the fact that the content you added was partly AI-generated and hadn't been adequately checked. Even though you fixed that specific citation, the larger problem remains.
As for the edit war warning, sorry about that. I posted the warning after you undid my edit but before your second edit where you fixed the URL (or at least, before I saw that second edit). So I thought you were just restoring the content without changing anything. Cadddr (talk) 07:28, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

In Russia in the 2026 Iran war, none of the sources you cited say that the 2026 Iran war has tested India-Russia relations. Most of the sources don't even mention Russia at all, and some of them were published before 2026. You may find it helpful to read Wikipedia's policy on No original research and, in particular, WP:SYNTHESIS. All we do on Wikipedia is summarize what the existing reliable sources say. I actually agree with a lot of the substance of what you've written regarding Indian politics, but that doesn't really matter, since we're not supposed to do our own analysis on Wikipedia.

As for your changes in Economic impact of the 2026 Iran war, I don't think it would be helpful for me to tell you which part in particular isn't supported by the sources. If you're not sure which parts are unsupported, that means you haven't been diligent enough.

My recommendation would be to read at the sources, then start writing from scratch without the help of AI. Personally, I often use AI to help me gather sources and proofread what I've written, but I don't ask it to write things for me. It takes more time, but I think it's worth the extra effort. Cadddr I think that this user has been using AI or LLMs. Another recentish example followed the same pattern (until they got blocked). Citations that don't support the content, and urls that don't work (see my comment below). Maybe needs an admin to have a look. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 09:25, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
Hi Laterthanyouthink! Yes, I definitely agree that they've been using LLMs. In the discussion above, I've said that multiple times and they haven't denied it. I'm holding out hope that they'll stop now after my comment above, but the disruptive LLM editing continues, I agree that an admin should probably take a look. You recently added content to Australian involvement in the 2026 Iran war which - apart from not really being on topic - had 3 citations which were broken. I have since replaced one of them and added new ones to one of them. Please re-check your changes and see if you can work out where you got those links, and either replace them or rewrite. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 08:22, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

After initially attempting to improve the citing, I decided to remove the whole section, as it does not relate to Australia's involvement in the war. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 00:19, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
