Two year lists
Hello Meena, some soap character articles such as List of Hollyoaks characters introduced in 1995-1996 and List of Emmerdale Farm characters introduced in 1972-1973. Those articles I would say have enough characters and sources to justify being split into single years. I was wondering what your thoughts were. EmmerdaleFan2001 (talk) 11:44, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

- Of course and I think it's harder to find sources to back up content regarding these older characters. On the other hand, I don't understand why I need sources to back whether a character is a regular character or a recurring character. There's a character on the 1961 Coronation Street characters article who only appeared like 12 times and is down as a regular, which I changed and got challenged for. A character needs to appear frequently and for a decent number of times to be a regular character. I don't see why I need a source to back that up. However, I have found sources for a character named Frank Blakey who will go in the Emmerdale 1972-1973 page. Also, as you've done it before, I would like to add a character named Rosemary Kendall to the 1974 page, but she was introduced in 1975. Could you change the Emmerdale Farm 1974 page to be a two-year list 1974-1975 please? Thank you. EmmerdaleFan2001 (talk) 09:45, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

- I have added Rosemary Kendall to 1974-1975 page and I have added Frank Blakey to 1972-1973 page. I will add more characters to the 1974-1975 page in due course. Also, I know there was once an article for Emmerdale characters Nick Bates and Leonard Kempinski. Any ways of accessing these if I wish to include their content in future articles?
