Thank you
Thank you for protecting the article Saqaliba from vandalizm. The vandal has returned. They are basically erazing the article and removing several pages of well references information. The editor appear to have an agenda to censure the article in order to present their preferred viewpoint. I do not have the time tu truly engage in the issue, but it is important that the article be protected. I have warned the user, but perhaps the article should be protected from further vandalizm and the user be blocked for vandalizm. They show clear bias. Aciram (talk) 02:00, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- Asked for protection.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 20:23, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. I feel I must add a warning. I see that User: M. Bitton now participate in the discussion on the talk page. This user has a history of questioning all content which adresses the issue of slavery within Islamic context (talk page of slavery in al-Andalus), and has on one occasion defended sexual slavery within an Islamic context as something beneficial to the victim. This make me concerned for the NPOW of the article.
- I wish I could participate in the discussion, but I do not participate in debates which includes this user. I suffer from anxiety: one one occasion, this user continued to post repeatedly on my personal talk page after a conflict, despite being informed that I wished to end the discussion since it caused a panic attack. Because of this, I do not trust the good will of M. Bitton. I am saying this to explain why I can not participate in the debate further than my single post to the other user prior. But the fact that the article has attracted the attention of this user does make me concerned. --Aciram (talk) 23:46, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Thompson merger
Hello. I went ahead and closed the merge discussion and performed the merge myself to help out, hope that's alright. I did my best following merge instructions to keep relevant info while leaving out a little bit that was unsourced. Feel free to make improvements and adjustments as necessary, thank you. --2605:8D80:6C29:568E:602F:E49C:B22A:4D58 (talk) 19:57, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
