Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Saagar Enjeti, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Rising and The Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of Saagar Enjeti

Notice

The article Saagar Enjeti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Izzy Award

Hi Mistipolis, regarding the quote for the Izzy Award (on The Lever), it seems relevant to me what the award was for. If you think the full quote is too much, I suggest something like:

In granting this award, the judges commented that The Lever is relentless "in exposing the corrupting influence of corporate power on government and both major parties."

I will defer to your judgement on this, because life is short. :)

But I think this info is warranted, especially because it reinforces the previous quote by Krystal Ball. It is part of the narrative.

Best regards, Dorje108 (talk) 22:51, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Hi Dorje, I think your edits have been great overall, and I appreciate the effort you've put in to making the article read well. As regards the Izzy Award quote, I worry that it feels biased to include for an article that is walking a tight rope and will likely face an AfD. It is a direct quote from a credible institution but there are a fair amount of independent media award organizations out there. You put more effort in than me so you deserve to make the final decision. I think your abbreviated version is better, but just bear in mind what people who have more institutional leverage than us on this site will think when reading it. Mistipolis (talk) 23:21, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
Hi Mistipolis,
Thanks for the feedback. I understand your concerns. It is difficult to predict how other editors will react to the article. Regarding the quote, I am going to leave it alone for now (without the quote). I will just wait and see what develops. I appreciate your input. It helps to have another point of view. Cheers. Hi Mistipolis, just wanted to add that I think it is very helpful to think through potential issues with the article before any type of potential review by other editors. So I appreciate the points you are raising. Cheers. Dorje108 (talk) 18:33, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
FYI, I have discussed the redirect here: User_talk:Red-tailed_hawk#"The_Lever"_article
I might follow up on that thread tomorrow with more questions. Dorje108 (talk) 03:26, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Tormentor (album) (January 27)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Nil NZ was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Per WP:NALBUM, a standalone article about an album needs to demonstrate significant coverage (such as critical reviews). Articles that are little more that just a track listing are better off being merged into the artist's page.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Thank you for the feedback, Nil! I've looked for more critical reviews and haven't found a lot besides blogs / self reported sites. I think this is likely in part because the some of the anchor songs of the album were originally released as an EP called American Prayer in 2022. I was wondering in this case if it would make sense to combine the "Tormentor" article with the existing Wikipedia article for "American Prayer"? Mistipolis (talk) 02:23, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
No problem! Having a look at American Prayer (EP), I'd say that you could definitely add something along the lines of The tracks "American Prayer" and "Tormentor" were included on Tiny Viper's third full-length solo album Tormentor (2025).
I wouldn't combine them, however, for two main reasons;
  • Although there's some cross-over in the tracklist, they are still two separate releases, so it would be out of scope of the article's topic (the EP) to have information about the album. Combining multiple releases into a single article is usually reserved for notable rereleases, remixes or cover versions etc.
  • I'd also be concerned that American Prayer (EP) – in its current state – probably doesn't meet WP:NALBUM, as it has just a single review (with the other two sources being routine release announcements). If it were to be nominated at Articles for Deletion, I'd predict the outcome would be to merge/redirect the article back to Tiny Vipers.
Instead my recommendation would be to include the information at Tiny Vipers#Return and recent work, and in future if there's enough coverage for a standalone article, it can be split from there :) Nil🥝 03:08, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
Really sound advice, thanks! Mistipolis (talk) 03:26, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
