Speedy deletion nomination of User:OkayBabyHiCBabyKickinShitBaby/sandbox

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:OkayBabyHiCBabyKickinShitBaby/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi-C
I helped save the Hi-C page cause bro is a legend, it should go through now Aradicus77 (talk) 08:08, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you bro, you're a legend too. Requiring a ton of sources to prove an influential underground rapper exists and that his Wikipedia article is not a promo should be a federal crime or something. MitchChau (talk) 23:32, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
Image use policy
Hi, please check this out, you generally cant just take some image anywhere and upload it, it has to be fair use. Places like Flickr are ok if they give fair use permission for such (if anyone uses Flickr anymore idk). For now, leave the image alone, it'll probably get deleted on its own. I would (if i were you) look for a fair use image in the meantime. Check around on other rapper articles to see where they found an image and follow a similar means. For example, this or this serve for good examples. These photos possess all its data and where it's from, and why/how it's being uploaded and used in the file description. You are a fast learner, so I'll leave this to you, please try to find an up-to-date Hi-C pic right away (preferably one that isn't from when he was 15). - Could I use the Well Well Well interview? I'm not sure where to check if it's creative commons licensed or not (it'd be a screenshot off YouTube like the Joeyy example you linked). I never took a picture of Hi-C performing myself so I don't think I'd be able to go down that route the linked xaviersobased picture went MitchChau (talk) 19:46, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- 🤔 Perhaps you can screenshot a live video of him performing (without the mic in his face), I think that would be a better idea. So a stil from a high-quality, brightly lit, Hi-C live video would be preferred. Now that I closely look at it, I think YouTube video snapshots circumvent the fair use/IP barrier stuff. For example, the still of him at 7:44 in this video might suffice but there's probably even better if you dig around his live shows. - Lil Happy Lil Sad :): 21:41, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
