I would like to disclose that I am engaged in a collaborative project with SquidX focused on the equitable documentation of notable Canadian individuals and institutions whose contributions may be underrepresented in open-access knowledge platforms such as Wikipedia.

While our shared objective is to support the improvement of encyclopedic coverage in a manner consistent with Wikipedia’s verifiability and notability standards, I acknowledge that this association constitutes a potential conflict of interest. Accordingly, I will refrain from editing the main article directly and will instead use this Talk page to propose improvements for community review and consensus.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Gordon K. McIvor (August 9)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MediaKyle was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Gordon K. McIvor (August 13)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Paul W was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
No evidence of notability per WP:GNG. Most references derive from organisations with which McIvor is/has been involved - no significant coverage in reliable independent secondary sources.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Canadian Dental Relief International moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Canadian Dental Relief International. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and over-reliance on primary sources (ie: Canadian Dental RElief International). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Paul W (talk) 10:30, 14 August 2025 (UTC)

Concern regarding Draft:The Redwood Theatre

Information icon Hello, Mkaram99. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:The Redwood Theatre, a page you created, has not been edited in at least five months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Drafts

Please note WP:DRAFTNOCAT and WP:REDNO. Drafts are not allowed to be filed alongside real articles in mainspace, and no type of content is ever allowed to be filed in redlinked categories that don't exist to have pages filed in them. Draft:James Arnett and Draft:Gilbert Reid, and any other draft you create in the future, must stay out of any categories while they're in draftspace, and even if they were to be accepted and moved into mainspace by an WP:AFC reviewer you would still have to restrict yourself to categories that exist — for example, there is no Category:Gemini Award nominees to file people in, and there's never going to be one because we do not categorize people as nominees for awards they didn't win, so that's not a category you're free to use on any page since it doesn't exist.

Please do not put the pages back into categories again, because drafts aren't allowed to be categorized as articles. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 03:20, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: James Arnett (January 15)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Pythoncoder was:
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Wikipedia guidelines prohibit the use of LLMs to write articles from scratch. In addition, LLM-generated articles usually have multiple quality issues, to include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Your draft article, Draft:Bill King

Hello, Mkaram99. This message concerns the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Bill King".
