Hello, I'm Piotrus. I noticed that you recently removed content from Blown Away (video game) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. DO NOT remove useful content. Reviews in other languages are perfectly valid sources. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:55, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- I do actually have an explanation behind why I removed the content I did. Outside of the sources being in foreign languages, the reception section had a lot of content - like five times as much as the rest of the article, which didn't seem proportionally fair given what it was intended to cover. I also found numerous issues with phrasing that I couldn't easily resolve given how on the device I was using, it was hard for me to access the sources, so I just removed them altogether.
- That being said, I will let your edit stand for the time being, and thanks for letting my tense and phrasing tweaks stand :D
- Thanks! – Sincerely, ModdedInstall2. (my edits | leave a message) 15:22, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Your copyediting of my prose is very welcome. But do note that sources in foreign languages are allowed (see WP:NOENG). Briefly, it's fine to replace them with English ones if they are effectively identical, but for stuff like reviews there is no replacement - and in fact, we want to locate and mention all of them for the article to be comprehensive (and in fact this is one of my recent mini-hobbies here...); also note that in some cases a topic is notable only due to non-English sources, as English ones don't exist - for example see my recent The Witcher: The Adventure Card Game. Article's length is not much of an issue (if the reception section becomes way too long, it can be summarized and split). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:02, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
