RM for Officer South and Blind Bight
Hello Numbermaniac. Not sure if you are aware, but there is an RfC running at Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board# RfC: The convention for naming Australian place articles. Because of this, I have asked the non-admin closers of your two move requests at [(Talk:Officer South]] and Talk:Blind Bight are reopened. Given this has been a fairly long running issue, and is quite contentious, if you have a strong view please participate in the RfC! Until that is resolved, I would discourage you from raising any more RMs until consensus is clear. Thanks! Dfadden (talk) 22:26, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. I will have a look at that discussion. – numbermaniac 08:20, 15 June 2025 (UTC)

Relisting at CfD
Hello! It's generally a bad idea to relist three times at CfD (as you did at Special:Diff/1306957747), particularly if no discussion has happened since the last relist. In any case, thanks for taking the time to help out at CfD! — Qwerfjkltalk 14:30, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
- Cheers, I will take that into account in the future. Thanks for letting me know! – numbermaniac 16:47, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Yallourn a suburb?
What's it a suburb of? HiLo48 (talk) 23:16, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- @HiLo48: I assume you're talking about the infobox - I wanted to mark it as a locality, but it turns out the template doesn't have an option for that. I noticed Flynn, Victoria, which is also a locality, was marked as "suburb" in its infobox, so I thought maybe that's the right way to do it. I wasn't sure about "town" because of the low population and the lack of a town centre. Which do you think would be better for Yallourn -
townorother? – numbermaniac 05:53, 8 December 2025 (UTC)- None of those is accurate. Can it be left blank? HiLo48 (talk) 06:09, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- It's a required parameter, but it looks like if I set it to "other", it disappears. I've done that now. – numbermaniac 06:37, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
