Marek Tamm

Hello PanoptikEU, and thank you for your edits to Wikipedia! On reviewing the page you created for Marek Tamm, I had some concerns about whether your subject was notable enough for inclusion. It would help if you could provide non-primary references (from a national newspaper or news outlet, for example). If you are not able to provide these, the page may be nominated for deletion. All the best, ArthurTheGardener (talk) 09:48, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey! Thanks for the heads up and I apologize for the thin sourcing. I am rereading the notability section to make sure I am following the policies. I am updating the page now to add independent coverage (ERR/Vikerraadio, Sirp) and a couple of third party scholarly book reviews, I will keep adding more independent refs as I find them. I believe he meets notability given his elected senior role as Vice President of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and the fact that his work receives independent coverage/reviews, I hope the sources I add will clear the issue :) PanoptikEU (talk) 10:18, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Arno Vihalemm moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Arno Vihalemm, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Dan arndt (talk) 10:46, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

@Dan arndt: Thanks for the note and for moving the page to draftspace.
I have revised the draft to address the sourcing/verifiability concerns by adding several independent reliable sources with substantive coverage (e.g., Andres Ehin in Keel ja Kirjandus, Tiina Saluvere in Tuna, and Maia Tammjärv in Sirp), alongside institutional reference/collection records (EWOD/University of Tartu, EKABL, KIRMuS, and EKM digikogu). I also tightened the wording and removed and rewrote any statements that were not originally directly supported by citations.
I have now resubmitted the draft for review. Any further guidance is very welcome.

Hi PanoptikEU. Thank you for your work on Aija Sakova. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for your work on this article. Please establish notability as per WP:PROF. Thanks and have a great day!

Mariamnei (talk) 09:10, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

@Mariamnei: Thank you for the review, I have now added independent reliable secondary coverage discussing Sakova’s work, it now includes a review in Keel ja Kirjandus by Hasselblatt and an ERR review of her 2020 monograph by Talviste, as well as ERR coverage of her 2016 German monograph. These sources provide significant commentary beyond just institutional listings, supporting notability under WP:GNG / WP:AUTHOR as the subject is an academic/writer, but the articles notability is now evidenced through independent reviews of her scholarly books. PanoptikEU (talk) 12:12, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
Thank you! I have removed the notability template. Mariamnei (talk) 08:06, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
