ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Because I really don't want to start an edit war, I'm going to explain the following. "I think it's WP:UNNECESSARY" is not policy. Nothing in Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies/style#In-line citations suggest that notes for charts be from the same chart provider or institution as the main chart the abbreviation links to. The only requirement in that overall Citations and references section is that the charts are good enough per WP:GOODCHARTS and don't fall under WP:BADCHARTS. I won't revert your edit if you make a far-better, more policy-informed case. If I missed anything, let me know. I'll give you time. - Yeah, but, for me, there are no articles do this before (maybe). I see only notes about charting on the component charts (physical, download, streaming, radio) or something like Bubbling or Heatseekers charts from the same publisher. Another reasons is I feel like the table would have too many notes.
- And I would like to ask you about adding Billboard Japan's Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan and Japan Songs (country name) charts on the song and discography articles too. I had already asked in Wikipedia talk:Record charts#Billboard Japan's Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan and Japan Songs (country name). PepeBonus (talk) 21:18, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- I mean... they're Billboard charts, the magazine is already widely accepted. Unless its a Twitter or a Tiktok chart, there's a really strong chance it's a reputable, high-quality chart if it's from Billboard. Hello! I'm Javajourney. I just wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the page Risk It All (Bruno Mars song) have been reverted because they appear to have added incorrect information. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. —JavaJourney (talk | contribs) 14:07, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for informing me. I found that I forgot to change artist name as I copied from Stateside (song) article and I have already corrected it. PepeBonus (talk) 15:42, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
