Barnstars
Please stop spamming users with barnstars for little to no reason. This devalues the award and honor. There are many other ways you can share WikiLove, like thanks, goats, etc. GoldRomean (talk) 20:47, 4 May 2025 (UTC)

Your edits to the article Marionette
Hello, PersonFromPoland, I don't want to start an edit war, so I won't be reverting your edit again. However, I would like to discuss why you believe the image of Spamton is relevant enough to be placed on the article Marionette. I don't believe a character who happens to be a puppet should be in the gallery of the article; the article is about actual physical marionettes themselves, so in my opinion Spamton is not relevant enough to the contents of the article. This is why, per MOS:IMAGEREL, I think the Spamton image should not be in the gallery.
On top of this, per WP:GALLERY, "Gallery images must collectively add to the reader's understanding of the subject". I fail to see how the Spamton image adds anything to this article that the other images do not already. Fieldbox (talk) 00:29, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- You can revert my edit, but I can explain. The character I added is from a very popular game, and in that game, he mentions many times how he's just a puppet with "silly strings". And yes the character is not mine, it's from this game, Deltarune, but the creator doesn't mind if under his work you put the original creator (him). I also thought it was a bit humorous, since that character in the game is very tragic actually. PersonFromPoland (talk) 07:07, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- Deltarune's popularity or the humour of the situation are irrelevant. We are an encyclopaedia; not the place for humour.
- I am familiar with Deltarune myself, however I don't think this article needs to include every character who happens to be a marionette in its gallery. Why Spamton and not, e.g. the Marionette from FNAF? Deltarune isn't any more special than any other property with a marionette in it.
- On top of that, do you have a source for Toby giving permission to include his intellectual property on Wikipedia with credit? Even with that permission though, Wikimedia Commons is not the place for those files; Commons is for work in the public domain, and since it is not your work you do not have the rights to release it into the public domain. Kris (Deltarune)
The reason I removed the marital status of Asgore and Toriel is because nothing in the plot summary actually deals with their divorce after that. Perhaps once chapter 5 comes out it can be mentioned, but Wikipedia guidelines advise against having a plot summary of more than 700 words. Cukie Gherkin (talk) 21:59, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
