From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello and welcome

I'm sorry you feel you are being persecuted, in hindsight I should have explained what I was doing better.

I am reviewing newly created articles to make sure they are a good fit for Wikipedia. This is part of the backend wiki-work that goes on behind the scenes.

Tagging articles is not about attacking the author. In fact, the Francisco Peralta Torrejón article is at a pretty good standard really. We tag articles with maintenance templates so they can be checked more thoroughly and improved by others. Wikipedia is a collaborative platform.

I recommend reading up on our guidelines around notability and promotional language. Our purpose here is to build an encyclopedia, rather than promote people or websites. We also need everything to be verifiable, which means it needs to be referenced to a reliable, independent source, with no need for the reader to "put two and two together". The sources need to clearly state the thing they are referencing.

I hope you stick around! I recommend doing some light editing of existing articles before jumping in with writing brand new ones. It sounds like you're passionate about performance theatre. Did you know there is a WikiProject Theatre with a list of tasks you can contribute to? David Palmer//cloventt (talk) 22:00, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

Your attacks are personal. I do not like this nice talks, oh, lets be friends, I just want to improve ... I do not believe a single syllable. We had a discussion on The Theatre Times, we disagreed. Ok. Then you were choosing to attack another article, I wrote and give me shit there. THAT'S NOT FAIR AT ALL. Feel free to improve The Theatre Times, but do not play your games on other articles. Please stop removing maintenance templates

Information icon Hi Photographer's Box! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. David Palmer//cloventt (talk) 22:27, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

Please stop running after my articles.--Photographer's Box (talk) 22:28, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

Assuming good faith

Hi, please keep in mind that WP:Assume good faith is a English Wikipedia guideline. Specifically, @Cloventt (courtesy ping, no need to comment if you wish not to) might be right, or they might be wrong, but they have remained very civil the entire time. Your response to this friendly message is not ok; nor is this thread. Perhaps you are right, but unless you know for sure, you need to stop making accusations of bad faith. (Plus, if you are right, it is much more likely others will be on your side if you stay civil.) GoldRomean (talk) 17:36, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of The Theatre Times

Notice

The article The Theatre Times has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The editor who wrote this article has had it explained that we need independent, reliable sources to establish notability. This hasn't been forthcoming. My BEFORE search doesn't turn up anything either. There's an extensive discussion about this on the talk page, where the article creator even suggested that they might ask to have this article deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Schwede66 06:12, 25 July 2025 (UTC)

Nomination of The Theatre Times for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Theatre Times is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Theatre Times until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Non-attributed translations

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from de:Helga Rabl-Stadler to Helga Rabl-Stadler. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Dionysodorus (talk) 22:06, 29 September 2025 (UTC)

  • This is not true. I wrote a new article about this lady, I did not simply translate from French or German into English.--Photographer's Box (talk) 16:55, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
