Hello,
I am respectfully requesting the undeletion of the article Shwa Losben, which was soft-deleted on 5 September 2024 following an expired PROD / minimal-participation AfD.
I did not create the original article, but I am requesting undeletion because I believe there is now sufficient evidence of notability that was not fully reflected in the original discussion. I understand that the article was deleted primarily due to concerns about the lack of multiple independent, reliable secondary sources.
Since the deletion, it appears there is clear evidence of significant coverage in reliable sources, including:
- The Washington Post, which published a full music-criticism article reviewing Shwa Losben’s album Chop Chop (2008), providing substantive independent coverage rather than a passing mention.
- DCist, which ran an album review of Chop Chop, demonstrating additional independent critical coverage in a reputable regional publication.
- NBC Philadelphia, which featured Shwa Losben in its Hidden Tracks segment (this source was cited during the original deletion discussion but appears to have been considered in isolation).
In addition, Shwa Losben is a recipient of the ASCAP Robert Allen Songwriting Award, an award administered by the ASCAP Foundation, a major professional organization representing songwriters and composers.
For contextual support, Shwa Losben’s album Chop Chop (2008) is listed in the Selected discography and referenced in the Post-Goudie career section of the Wikipedia article on Johnny Goudie, indicating that Shwa Losben’s work has been treated by editors as a notable collaborative contribution within the career of another notable musician. I understand that Wikipedia articles are not independent sources, but this demonstrates recognition within the documented music history of a notable artist.
Additionally, Shwa Losben now has an expanding creative career beyond music and is credited as a writer on the upcoming feature film Going There (scheduled for release in 2026), with coverage in established entertainment industry publications.
I respectfully request that the article be restored, preferably to Draft space, so it can be reviewed and improved in accordance with Wikipedia’s content policies. If restored, I am committed to ensuring the article:
- Uses only independent, reliable secondary sources
- Maintains a neutral, non-promotional tone
- Fully complies with WP:N, WP:MUSICBIO, and WP:V
- Includes appropriate conflict-of-interest disclosures, if required
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards, Josh

Undeletion is requested at WP:REFUND. You don't need to make this extensive a statement, just explain whar you want to do in your own words(don't use AI). If you are connected to this person, that must be disclosed, see WP:PAID and WP:COI. 331dot (talk) 23:03, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi thanks for looking into this. I’m requesting undeletion. Yes, I am the subject of the article and I understand any potential conflict of interest. To be clear though I didn’t create that posting. It looked like the previous version was deleted due to notability and sourcing concerns, so I’m trying to share independent and reliable sources here about notable collaborations, awards, appearances in media etc. Porcinifan (talk) 23:32, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
