Triple H

I fixed the issues with the article on Triple H, which you recently reviewed. I hope what I did was sufficient enough for it to pass and become a Good Article. If it isn't, I'll be happy to continue to improve the article. Thanks. Nikki311 02:37, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi. It's been quite awhile since you put Triple H's article on hold, and I was wondering if you were going to pass it, fail it, or if I should relist it so somebody else can review it. Thanks. Nikki311 03:54, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Yep, it's been nearly a month since you reviewed the article. Am I going to have to ask someone else to review it? Thanks, Davnel03 21:09, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Nehrams2020 RfA Thanks

Thank you for your participation in my RfA, which closed successfully with unanimous support. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and vote and I can't wait to learn the new tools and further immerse myself into Wikipedia! Please don't hesitate to point out any errors I make so I can prevent them from occurring again. I'm always here to help, so if you ever need anything, just let me know. Also, thanks to Wizardman for nominating me and for guiding many other editors to become admins. Again, thank you and happy editing! --Nehrams2020 06:52, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Andrew Fisher GA

First, thanks again. I note at Wikipedia:Good Articles that I listed the nomination under world history - 'asia and oceania'. Looking at the others around it, I can't help but wonder if Fisher should come under 'Historical figures - heads of state and heads of government' or 'Historical figures - politicians'... thoughts? This is just a reminder that this article has been on hold for 13 days. LaraLove 16:49, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem. These are just reminders from the GAN report. We all forget about these things. LaraLove 19:50, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

World Community Grid

Just a reminder, but you a {{GAReview}} tag on World Community Grid at WP:GAN on September 19, 2007. If you could follow up on this, that would be appreciated; of if you no longer want to review the article, please remove the tag so that someone else may review it. Thanks! My recent RfA

I am sorry you felt it necessary not to support my RfA at this time. As you probably know, my RfA did not succeed. I will attempt to get some more experience and diversify myself before applying again in two month's time. I hope I will have allayed your concerns by then, but if not, feel free to comment the way you feel you should. Thank you for participating in my RfA. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 18:15, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Family emergency

Hey there, Pursey. I notice you've got a family emergency going on. Just a note to say hello and good luck. Lemme know if there's anything I can do, etc. – Scartol · Talk 14:53, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the note. I'm half-back, but not really. I'm having a bit of a rest. Had a death in the family, sadly. So I'm just resting for a bit. Pursey Talk | Contribs 19:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Activity survey for members of WikiProject Companies

placed on talk pages of all participants

I wanted to get a notion of the level of activity of people who are members of WikiProject Companies with respect to monitoring the WikiProject Talk page and participating in discussions of interest and/or responding to requests for input.

Could you please visit Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Companies/Member information#2008 Quarter 1 (Jan-Mar): Talk page monitoring survey and adding yourself to one or more of the several groupings listed?

Thanks for your assistance.

Tyrannosauridae Second Opinion

Hi, Pursey, thanks for offering to provide a 2nd opinion. I requested it because I thought there was a risk that I might be expecting too much. I'm puzzled by your uncertainty that it meets the Stability requirement of GA Status - e.g. I don't think there's any sign of an edit war. Look forward to hearing from you at the review page. -- Philcha (talk) 23:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I'll accept your "If I'd come to the page, not knowing anything about the topic (which incidentally, is the case with me), I feel the article provides a stack of information and references" as my concern was that in this case I might have too much existing background knowledge. -- Philcha (talk) 23:59, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again, this time for fixing the banner on the Talk page. GA reviews can sometimes be fun, but the tax returns at the end ... -- Philcha (talk) 04:16, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Userbox for GA reviews

The userbox {{User Good Articles reviewed}} has been updated so that it can now link to a page in your user subspace where you keep track of all your GA reviews, if you have such a page. This can be done by adding a | and then the name of your user subpage (or subsection of your regular user page) wherever you have the template called. For example, on my user page I am using

{{User Good Articles reviewed|6|User:Rjanag/GA reviews}}

which displays as

This user has reviewed 6 Good Article nominations on Wikipedia.

There is more information on how to do this at Template:User Good Articles reviewed.

Note: If you are not interested in doing this, you don't have to do anything; the template will still work for you exactly as it does now.

GA Sweeps invitation

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am sending you this message since you are a member of the GA WikiProject. I would like to invite you to consider helping with the GA sweeps process. Sweeps helps to ensure that the oldest GAs still meet the criteria, and improve the quality of GAs overall. Unfortunately, last month only two articles were reviewed. This is definitely a low point after our peak at the beginning of the process when 163 articles were reviewed in September 2007. After nearly two years, the running total has just passed the 50% mark. In order to expediate the reviewing, several changes have been made to the process. A new worklist has been created, detailing which articles are left to review. All exempt and previously reviewed articles have already been removed from the list. Instead of reviewing by topic, you can consider picking and choosing whichever articles interest you.

We are always looking for new members to assist with the remaining articles, so if you are interested or know of anybody that can assist, please visit the GA sweeps page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. If only 14 editors achieve this feat starting now, we would be done with Sweeps! Of course, having more people reviewing less articles would be better for all involved, so please consider asking others to help out. Feel free to stop by and only review a few articles, something's better than nothing! Take a look at the list, and see what articles interest you. Let's work to complete Sweeps so that efforts can be fully focused on the backlog at GAN. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! April 2010 GAN backlog elimination drive

WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of April. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 200. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. Hope we can see you in April.

Meetup 12 June 2011

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Liam Wyatt is in town, so we were thinking of doing a quick meetup at Brunelli's cafe in Rundle Street (at the Rundle Mall end, near the car park) at 6pm on Sunday, with a possibility of drinks afterwards. So if you're interested we hope to see you there. :) - Bilby (talk) 03:18, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)

Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list.

If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:32, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)

Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified. If user's don't sign on this page, they will be moved to an "Inactive Participants" list rather then be being removed from the entire WikiProject. Sorry for any confusion.--Dom497 (talk)15:21, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
