Your submission at Articles for creation: Zaverbhai H. Patel (December 7)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Dan arndt were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Still so wrong

See Help:Referencing for beginners and examples of articles about people to learn how to incorporate references into the text. David notMD (talk) 14:16, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

I think the article is deleted. I am trying to figure out how to use citations and referencing. Everything in the article comes from published material by others. Quitesage (talk) 01:18, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Draft content

You can only put in the draft what other people have published about him. Do not try to add photos until after you get the draft accepted. David notMD (talk) 15:54, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for your guidance. I'm learning the process.
I'll remove the photos.
I'll follow "Referencing for the Beginners".
Most all of writing is paraphrasing the information from material published by others (not Zaverbhai). Quitesage (talk) 18:55, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Zaverbhai H. Patel (February 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by AirshipJungleman29 were:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Big problem!
Few days ago I wanted to edit the article, Zaverbhai H Patel, after your comments of September 2025.
My idea was to go to Teahouse, but, by mistake, I clicked on TALK. It came with 2 page AI generated revised article. I clicked on Publish Changes. Now I lost it. Could not find the article I was trying to edit. Now every thing is blank.
Is there any way to restore the September 2025 version?
Thanks. Quitesage (talk) 04:24, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Quitesage. Please see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft_talk:Zaverbhai_H._Patel&action=history which outlines the history of the Talk Page.

Thank you for your review.
About the information meeting Wikipedia standards.
1.     His research was notable. Lok-1 wheat variety has been popular wheat variety increasing yield by more than 17 % of any existing wheat variety in India. Apart from the fact that it was invented by a scientist in his retirement year, at his own expense, for no personal gain. It is unique.
2.    The sources cited are independent, reputable and well-established  publications.  Ref 3: Phulchhab (Started1921); Ref 8: Mumbai Samachar (Started 1822); Ref 10: Gujarat Samachar (Started 1932); Ref  F3: Sandesh (Started 1923)
3.    The impact of his research is long term. Lok-1 wheat is still in top demand. Benefit to farmers is in billions of  rupees per year. If you get a chance, please see: https://ibb.co/3mBG2rdG
Further clarification:
1               Lok-1 seeds are maintained by the Indian government and sold thru approved shops. There is no patent.
2               Zaverbhai Patel (1903-1989), has no foundation or organization who benefits from the sale of Lok-1. It was invented for the benefit of people only
3               Lok-1 is not registered under PPVFR Act (The Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Act, enacted in India in 2001).
Anything in the text/photos  that needs to be removed or the whole article needs to be reduced to a few paragraphs, please advise. It will be appreciated. Information about Patel will not lower the standard of Wikipedia.

Feedback
The reviewer, ChrysGalley, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
Just reiterating the comments below. I suspect AI / LLM has been used here and it has created a heap of problems. This is a subject that seems notable, and there is enough material here, otherwise it is at risk of rejection. This needs more work on it before going into mainspace since it will get a potentially rough ride there. So kindly follow up on the earlier comments about bolds and links, remove unacceptable sources, consider keeping it shorter and more concise, less promotional. And don't use AI.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Zaverbhai H. Patel to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
