Question from Dorcas99 (23:28, 1 April 2026)
Hello I have not been an active editor before but was inspired to because of an article that I thought was not neutral even though the non-neutrality is subtle. I posted in the talk page for the article but I'm not sure that anyone is actively looking at that. I don't feel confident just making my suggested changes now but maybe I should. Advice? Thanks! --Dorcas99 (talk) 23:28, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry I can't help specifically with that, but WP:EPTALK might help. randomdude121 15:11, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from NewbNym5002 (11:07, 8 April 2026)
Hello!
If I wanna use a web page as a source in a citation for example, do the contents of that page have to be completely free to access without needing anything (example: an account or subscription)? --NewbNym5002 (talk) 11:07, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was unable to find an apt resource to refer to for this exact case, so I'm not sure. You could try the teahouse, or place the question on your talk page and use {{Help me}} and a volunteer will come by and give you the answer! randomdude121 15:17, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from Siirekt (16:28, 12 April 2026)
- Note: Siirekt's mentor Tollens is away.
What happens if i edit something but it turns out to be incorrect without realising --Siirekt (talk) 16:28, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
- From WP:BOLD:
any changes you make that turn out badly can be reverted easily, usually painlessly, and it is important not to feel insulted if your changes are reverted or edited further. However, some significant changes can be long-lasting and harder to fix. If you're unsure of anything, just ask for advice.

Question from LoranCampanula (18:22, 12 April 2026)
Hi Randomdude, I got the suggestion to copy edit the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Digital_District. When looking at the sources and general information, there is nothing current, making me think that the organization might have ceased to exist.
I left an entry on the talk page on Friday, but I assume there's little interest in the article.
What would the best next step?
Thanks for your help. Loran --LoranCampanula (talk) 18:22, 12 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from Fsmith33000 (14:07, 14 April 2026)
Hi Randomdude121! Thank you for being my mentor. I’ve been working on the article Comfort television and am looking for suggestions on how to improve it further.
Do you have any recommendations for additional edits I could make, or ways to better engage with other editors and get feedback on the page? I’d really appreciate any guidance you have! --Fsmith33000 (talk) 14:08, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
Question from Andypalaces (15:45, 14 April 2026)
Hello - i am a bit confused on the editing portion. It is my first time editing on wiki and i tried following the instructions for the recommended editing I did for Talk:Atlantis University. Is there anything else that needs to be done on my end? --Andypalaces (talk) 15:45, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
- seems like you've already been advised on what to do :) randomdude121 16:29, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks - normally how long does it take to get a response? Is there anything else I can do on my end? Andypalaces (talk) 14:54, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
- From Wikipedia:Edit requests#Response:
Please be patient: it can take anywhere from a day to several months for an edit request to be acted upon. If you want more editors to be willing to respond to your request, try heeding advice on how to properly make the requests.

Question from CandleWhick (17:01, 14 April 2026)
Hey, one article was made in like 2008 and it was made by only one guy using one source. In the years since, there have been many citation needed things put throughout the article (it's around 8000 words) (there was only one citation at the very end). I was wondering what should be done about the citation needed things, should they all be filled in, deleted, or should they be placed at the end of every paragraph? What about for the info-box (I updated it to now use two sources so how would that be cited? Thank you. --CandleWhick (talk) 17:01, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
Question from MikeAEvans (16:47, 15 April 2026)
Hi I'm really pleased to have a mentor. I recently published two articles in the IEEE Annals of Computer History. In doing so, I found quite a number of problems and missing links in Wikipedia articles. I'd like to improve those. Any suggestions where to start? Mike --MikeAEvans (talk) 16:47, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- You can generally be bold and improve any articles you see. Feel free to review editing basics if you're unfamiliar, or ask questions when you're unsure. randomdude121 15:21, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

Hey! Looking forward to working with you. Recently, I messed up a little on my user page, by making it look like an article (rookie mistake). Some advice on what all should be on it? Cheers! --TanoojSanjeevMehra (talk) 21:54, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from Mertcury (16:03, 19 April 2026)
Hello, I was translating Magic in Dungeons and Dragons page to turkish, I did more than half of it but now, when I enter the page, it seems to be all deleted. I desperately need your help that was my semester project. I tried checking browser cache and refreshing as wikipedia itself suggested but it won't come back. --Mertcury (talk) 16:03, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, your contributions page only shows this edit to any article, so I'm afraid I'm not sure how to help in this case. randomdude121 14:56, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
