- It's not 'promotional', but it is a somewhat unusual thing to do, and for that reason it is disallowed from new users. Can you tell me what you were trying to achieve with that? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:14, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- I think the indexing attempt was done as an experiment to see if it would be useful or not to index a gallery of these icons.
- When does indexing become allowed? My account is autoconfirmed, but the text said "As indexing for promotional purposes is against policy, this action is not available for newer editors." However, this message seemingly says that the action would be available for autoconfirmed users.

- I still don't understand why you were trying to do this;
"I think the indexing attempt was done as an experiment to see if it would be useful"
doesn't really tell me much. Normally user space content should not be indexed, because it isn't intended for public consumption, therefore search engines have no reason to find it. - I believe, but am not sure, that "newer editors" in this context means "not yet extended confirmed". -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:41, 23 September 2025 (UTC)

Previous accounts
You ought to disclose your previous accounts, because your editing habits show a connection to at least two other accounts that were blocked in either here or Wikimedia Commons. Evading a block is not allowed and it will do no good to you. You are certainly not a new editor and a lot of points at WP:NOTNEW show it. – sbaio 04:42, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Sbaio: An account under the name of Mario662629 was falsely blocked for sockpuppetry locally on Wikimedia Commons because the account's operator was not the same person as the master, but admins were falsely believing that it was, causing the owner to confess with the admins. Eventually, their TPA was revoked on Commons. They were thinking of appealing their block on Commons to the Unblock Ticket Request System, but there was no such option. They were thinking of the possibility of the master having to share their real name in the UTRS request, while they also share their real name, in order to confirm the different identities. Their user page shows a story of what happened. RaptorsFan2019 (talk) 11:24, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Non-free Wikipedia files that are being discussed for inclusion

A tag has been placed on Category:Non-free Wikipedia files that are being discussed for inclusion indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 18:17, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
- I feel like you should instantly delete this category because it was an experiment that failed due to community disagreement. RaptorsFan2019 (talk) 18:21, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
