I hope it can help you. AmazonianGoddessAmazonianGoddess (talk) 12:13, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Ambiguous terms

Hi, I just want to check if you meant that Syriacs is a more ambiguous term than Syriac people? DavidKaf (talk) 18:03, 21 August 2025 (UTC)

Yes, that's what I was referring to. Syriacs is more ambiguous because it could potentially refer to pretty much anything at the disambiguation page, so it makes the most sense for it to redirect there. Meanwhile, Syriac people is still an ambiguous term, but less so than simply Syriacs, because its more specifically referring to an ethno/cultural/religious designation for potentially multiple groups of people. Edits to Peacemaker

Hi! I wanted to discuss the changes made to the Peacemaker article, as the one who rewrote it to its current state in the first place. For the time being, I've reverted your changes, as this is a highly active page (I wish I knew Season 2 was coming out before I started the rewrite or I would have waited on this lmao) and much of your edits were very WIP. However, I did want to discuss your concerns with the formatting. The way I write fictional characters is that I keep it to three "core" sections: Appearances (Plot summary and the like), Development (Production/developmental history of the character), and Reception (How they were received, impact, etc). I try to keep these sections together, because I feel those looking for particular information on a character would best be benefitted by that. If there was developmental info in the appearances section, for example, it'd be confusing given most would be going to development to find that.

However, I understand this system is not perfect. I've tried to make a few adjustments to make it more easy to understand for readers (Namely shifting developmental information after Appearances, adding some sub-headings to development, etc) but I would like your direct input on what you feel would be beneficial formatting wise for the article before the article is substantially re-altered again, so that way we can work to a good compromise between our two writing styles. Hopefully the above has clarified my stance, but I would greatly appreciate hearing more about yours. Please let me know what you feel would be best for the article.
