Biharilal Chakraborty moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Biharilal Chakraborty, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Amendments to the Constitution of Bangladesh into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 05:55, 11 March 2023 (UTC)

The World Destubathon
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:42, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Bangladesh Chhatra League. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Goku from bd (talk) 11:37, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Bangladesh Chhatra League, you may be blocked from editing. Goku from bd (talk) 10:23, 8 August 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Wikipedian Government of Bangladesh employee

A tag has been placed on Category:Wikipedian Government of Bangladesh employee indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 06:23, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
Exercise restraint with nominations
Somewhere, I don't remember where, there's a guideline or essay about not flooding AfD with nominations. I think it's particularly about not nominating many of one editor's articles at the same time, but the principle also applies to not overwhelming any deletion sorting category. WikiProject Bangladesh has relatively few members. Other editors help, but are often constrained by unfamiliarity with Bengali and/or Bangladesh's reliable source landscape. A limited number of volunteers participate in these discussions, and it's courteous to spread out nominations so that everyone has time to do their own research and give each topic due consideration.
Under the circumstances, 25 nominations is just over a week is excessive, to the point of becoming disruptive. Also, long strings of nominations with only a few minutes between them make it hard to believe you had time to do a proper WP:BEFORE on each topic. The results of the first four closed discussions in your spree are not encouraging either, with your !vote matching consensus only 50% of the time.
There are certainly articles that need deleting, but the task can be accomplished without nominating more than a couple per day. There is no deadline. For the sake of your colleagues and the encyclopedia, please slow down. --Worldbruce (talk) 22:42, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
- Will keep in mind. If you can find the Wikipedia rule on the aforesaid circumstance, please share with me. Rht bd (talk) 02:14, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- I came to post the same thing. This will/has completely overwhelmed the AFD process at Wiki Project Bangladesh. It does not help that the user copy pasted the deletion rational for multiple articles. Vinegarymass911 (talk) 18:36, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
Speedy speedy deletion
Hello there, and thank you for your help with NPP! I wanted to reach out because I noticed your recent A7 speedy deletion nomination of 519 Enterprise, which occurred 9 minutes after the article was created. It's best practice not to nominate an article for A7 speedy deletion while it's actively being edited (except in the case of obvious articles, e.g., writing about my clearly non-notable cat). In practice, this means articles shouldn't be draftified if they have been meaningfully edited in the past hour.
I understand and sympathize with wanting unsourced stubs out of main space, but we also need to recognize that it can come across as bitey to nominate an article for deletion too quickly -- especially considering that articles in mainspace do not need to be complete, and editors are allowed to develop articles in the mainspace .
I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 14:44, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
Rollback granted

Hi Rht bd. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2025-10-10. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! Giraffer (talk) 14:56, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 14
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anti-Corruption Commission. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Shafi Ahmed
Hi there! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your G11 speedy deletion nomination of Shafi Ahmed because I did not find the article to be overtly, unambiguously promotional. Upcoming expiry of your rollbacker right
Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "rollbacker" (Rollbackers) will expire on 00:00, 10 October 2025 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion. Leaderbot (talk) 19:41, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Comptroller and Auditor Generals of Bangladesh

A tag has been placed on Category:Comptroller and Auditor Generals of Bangladesh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2025_November_2#Category:Comptrollers_in_Bangladesh
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
