I have corrected an error in a {{cite}} item on the noted page, wanted to make sure I did it right. tnx Rpyle731talk 07:09, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- What you've done is probably an improvement, but still wrong in using the
|author=in that way. If there is no identified author, you leave it out. The fact that it's a press release would be a consideration for whether it is an independent source, but it does not need to be called out in the citation. And you should use the|date=to supply the date. The citation templates turn some of their parameters into microdata that gets used by Wikidata. Incorrectly supplying parameters messes this up. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:45, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Question from Ma7998017 : How long does it take for a page to get approved?
Hello,
Please, I created a page since October 15 but it has not been approved till now. Please, how long does it take for a new page to get approved? Ma7998017 (talk) 19:16, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how to answer the question. Let me do some research. Rpyle731talk 03:20, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

- There's no way of telling. There are currently 19,000 new pages awaiting review, with the oldest article being ~3 years, so it could be a while. That said, articles are not reviewed in any particular order, reviewers usually pick at random or they may specialise in certain subjects, so the review could happen at any time. --DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:46, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
Courtesy ping: Ma7998017 -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:47, 1 December 2025 (UTC)- PS: Oh, probably worth adding that new articles become indexable by external search engines when they've been reviewed, or 90 days after creation, whichever comes sooner. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:50, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you. Ma7998017 (talk) 17:50, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
