Hello, I'm Muhandes. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, St. Xavier's High School, Patna, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Duckhunter44, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Teqball have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:51, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

Response to Unblock request denial
@Jpgordon I had to sign in to a different device (a mobile phone) and make that edit through the safari browser using a different network. Not ideal. My primary network is most definitely blocked. I get the blocked pop-up every single time I click on edit. Sawarijoshi (talk) 04:55, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- There's a big rangeblock on there, but it shouldn't affect logged in accounts. What message are you getting? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 05:48, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Jpgordon I get the following message.
- This IP address has been blocked from editing Wikipedia.
- This does not affect your ability to read Wikipedia pages.
- Most people who see this message have done nothing wrong. Some kinds of blocks restrict editing from specific service providers or telecom companies in response to recent abuse or vandalism, and can sometimes affect other users who are unrelated to that abuse.
- Review the information below for assistance if you do not believe that you have done anything wrong.

When you add text, you have to provide sources that support it
When you added text to the article on Hyderabad, you did not provide a reliable source. Instead you nested your changed text in front of the citation that supported the previous text. Wikipedia has a policy Wikipedia:Verifiability that says that People must be able to check that any of the information within Wikipedia articles is not just made up. This means all material must be attributable to reliable, published sources.
Your edit has been reverted and archived in the page history. If you add citations to sources that support your changes you can re-add it.
Have you ever read referencing for beginners?
If you think that the existing source supported your changes, please explain this on Talk:Hyderabad. -- Toddy1 (talk) 08:40, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- My previous edit was minor - the only additional information I added was that Hyderabad now had the second-highest number of skyscrapers in India, and I provided a link to the relevant Wikipedia page. List of tallest buildings in India#Cities with the most skyscrapers. The rest of the edit was intended to make the sentence structures in that paragraph more reasonable.
- Nevertheless, I have added additional citations for the same. Thank you and good day. Sawarijoshi (talk) 09:03, 15 May 2025 (UTC)

There is an editor, with their IP address exposed, who edited all floor levels of the buildings on this page, doubling the amount they have. Although it seems hilarious, we need to rectify this. - @Theroadislong Hey there. I have already added citations to Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) sources. CTBUH is the most high-quality database available for skyscrapers across the world. Their bar for adding any building to their database is very high and, in my opinion, should suffice as a high-quality citation. Any further thoughts on why this was rejected? Thank you. Mumbai skyscraper article
Hi, I have edited the Mumbai article by adding accurate citations and even RERA links. I need your help to finish the article. I ask that the list be formatted like the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Hyderabad#Tallest_buildings article. I also added explanations in the citations such as - "All towers from T1 to T9 have the same specifications as T3. The Other Towers cannot be found". This should be explained as a note/footnote instead. There are lots of weird empty rows when the table is viewed in the visual editor. I worked a lot in the article by adding correct citations and RERA links and i request you do the rest that i specified. This will DRASTICALLY improve the quality of the article. Also correct any mistakes i may have made and check out the RERA docs for skyscrapes not sourced from CTBUH, Emporis etc. please do this. I ask that only the format be changed to how the hyderabad article is, Any explanations that i provided in the citations to be explained in a separate notes section, and other mistakes corrected. I spent multiple days on working on the article and the only things left are what i mentioned above which i request you to do. Also i did include images that are not on wikimedia. Remove them if you would like. Please do what i specified as it would really increase the quality of the article. All towers have RERAs cited or from reputable sources like Emporis or skyscraperpage. Formatting it like the Hyderabad article is the only thing left Ahahahaa (talk) 17:04, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Ahahahaa. Thank you for the tremendous effort. I am occupied with a lot (outside Wiki) at the moment and will get to this as soon as I can. Sawarijoshi (talk) 17:38, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- No worries!. The Heavy lifting is done. The only thing left is to format it they way you did it for the Hyderabad Article.
- If i may ask, How long will it take for you to implement these changes? The only reason i am asking is if it will take you a considerable amount of time i would do it myself. I do not mean to rush or pressure you into doing this as i have no ill intentions. Ahahahaa (talk) 17:59, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- The Hard work is done. Formatting it like the Hyd Article and adding the explanations that i put in the citations in a notes section is all that remains. Ahahahaa (talk) 18:01, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Ahahahaa Thank you for your thoughtfulness. It may take me a couple of weeks to attend to this. However, if you have the opportunity, I encourage you to make the formatting changes. As you rightly mentioned, you've already completed the most challenging aspects—this is simply the final stretch. Sawarijoshi (talk) 18:02, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Mumbai article cleaned
I have cleaned the Mumbai article and separated the ones from Thane and Navi Mumbai onto their respective articles. All the work is done. I have been trying to convince the editors on the cities with most skyscrapers page that all the work is done, all of them have pics of rera docs or are from reputable sources. It would help if you give me suggestions on if i missed anything and support my effort to get that number changed. I will work on the U/C and upcoming list for mumbai soon. Also for the Hyderabad article, You seem to be missing A LOT of buildings. Here is a map of all skyscrapers and highrises in Hyd that are completed + proposed + U/C + Launched - https://earth.google.com/earth/d/1SfdydXZ8j_5KNZHpPA0fGsy6WnBIrpi2?usp=sharing and here is also a list - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dqZOHQEUuyGUXDYAEsvNKcBXePOPVyhaJALRTphEQJQ/edit?usp=sharing. Aparna Sunstone and Moonstone are skyscrapers btw. I think sunstone may have missed the mark but moonstone is definitely skyscrapers. RERA heights are often calculated to last habitable floor and not the total height. In the list sent there are examples of that. Also please confirm that for sumadhura olympus as well. Ahahahaa (talk) 23:39, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- Responding to the Hyderabad buildings’ discussion below.
- I found the elevation diagram for Moonstone on RERA. The total height to top of structure is 150.35m – I will make the update on the page.
- However, there’s no elevation diagram for Sunstone on RERA. While I do understand the calculation in your shared doc for Sunstone, that will not fly as a reliable source/citation. In the absence of a reliable citation for the total height, it is best to use the RERA height (until top floor) as an alternative. I do not want to put calculations, estimates, or approximations of the total height - it reduces the reliability and trustworthiness of these wiki pages. We can mention the calculated total height in the notes but not in the actual height column.
- I know Sumadhura Olympus is 150m+ but we don’t have a reliable citation for this. The RERA elevation diagram for Sumadhura Olympus only labels height until the top floor - it does not label the overall structural height, even though that overall height will easily be above 150m. That’s why I have only used the top-floor height, since its actual total structural height is unknown. I have already mentioned the approximate height to top of structure as 152m in the notes column of the article. If you have a reliable source for the total height, please share, and I will be happy to update the official height in the table.
- Thank you. Sawarijoshi (talk) 07:09, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- Understood. However, you are missing My Home Vanya 12 Tower project in FD, ASBL Bryant Park 8 tower project next to prestige high fields, Greenmarks massive kollur township with 22 Towers and 47 floors, Sattva Residences Neopolis with 7 towers, Auro altus 50 floor twin tower project in Raidurg, Ananda skyhomes 49 floors and 5 towers in Tellapur, Rajapushpa P10 Neopolis x 2, MSN Neopolis x 3, Raghuram Pradeep Constructions x 3 ( Approvals filed ), Kurra Infra Amaris x 2, Radhey Constructions x 3 ( Approvals filed ), Phoenix Nova x 2 ( Approvals filed ), and a few more. I suggest you look into these projects. Here is the map where they can be viewed - https://earth.google.com/earth/d/1SfdydXZ8j_5KNZHpPA0fGsy6WnBIrpi2?usp=sharing
- ( The Upcoming section ). I suggest you go through the list for skyscrapers and highrises and make the necessary additions. Since it does seem you are still missing a lot. A lot of the info for these projects came from the rezy portal/page - https://www.instagram.com/rezy.in?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=Z3k5a29ndzcyYWd1. They are very reliable , accurate and cover new projects in Hyderabad. Ahahahaa (talk) 14:19, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for sharing these. A few of the names you listed (e.g., My Home Vanya) are covered under the "proposed/approved" table. But several of the other names are new to me. I will do some research and add the ones for which I can find sufficient detail. The problem is that many of these are too early stage. They don't yet have reliable height or floor count published, let alone being listed on RERA. For a few of these projects, even the builders themselves have not finalized the floor count. I don't see a need to rush into listing such projects on our wiki page so soon. We can add them to the "proposed/approved" list once more reliable details are available.
- Thank you, also, for the link to that Google Earth map view - very, very helpful! Sawarijoshi (talk) 16:33, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- Well i was wondering est. heights would be included. typical floor to ceiling heights for towers are 3 metres+. The rezy portal projects are projects that filed for approvals so with some research i believe you can find their floor count or heights and they can be included maybe with est. heights. Anyways, keep observing the map since i will update them. I also strongly advise you join the SkyscraperCity forum and follow the threads for Mumbai and Hyd projects. great news and updates come from there. Ahahahaa (talk) 17:40, 25 August 2025 (UTC)

what do we do now?
Hi @Sawarijoshi hope you are well, i guess you must have already noticed that many images of Mumbai's buildings have been deleted from commons what do we do now for the List of tallest buildings in India page? do you by any chance have access to pictures of important buildings like Lodha park, three sixty west, ahuja towers etc, your help is required to get that page back to normal. Talking about Bengaluru
You had added the official RERA height listings in the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Bengaluru page. Could you please tell where did you source this from? ASGoji (talk) 07:52, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- From the Karnataka RERA website? Sawarijoshi (talk) 09:53, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- Where exactly does it show the height ASGoji (talk) 14:56, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- I help update many such pages – so I don’t recall every single edit. However, if I have updated height somewhere, the source is very likely the RERA listing of that building. If its height isn’t mentioned on RERA, then I usually add a short invisible comment next to the height so that other contributors know where the numbers have come from.
