Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, paul2520 💬 16:30, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

Name attribute needed for porting graphs

Thank you for helping with porting the old graphs, but just so you know, the bot won't be able to successfully port the graphs unless there's a "name" attribute (it needs one so it can upload the data to the commons). When porting graphs, add a

| name=(subject of the graph)

field below {{PortGraph. This will allow the bot to correctly port the graph. Again, thanks for helping out with the backlog. Lovelyfurball (talk) 19:18, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Leon Black speaking at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills, California.webp

A tag has been placed on File:Leon Black speaking at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills, California.webp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
