Your submission at Articles for creation: Women in the Achaemenid court (January 10)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by ChrysGalley were:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
This submission reads more like an essay than an encyclopedia article. Submissions should summarise information in secondary, reliable sources and not contain opinions or original research. Please write about the topic from a neutral point of view in an encyclopedic manner.
The comment the reviewer left was:
At the moment the article reads like an essay based on one source. This is an encyclopedia, which is more about facts and figures, rather than arguments. All the information that is here channels back to the argument as to importance. In addition the source used does not directly relate to the summary in the article. E.g. regarding "duksiyā-n" and source 1.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Vandalization of article Hathibada Ghosundi inscriptions

An account named TeaToasst has recently edited this article to include claims and interpretations that are not supported by the original sources. For example, according to Epigraphica Indica, Volume XXII (1933–34), pages 198–205, Bhandarkar clearly states that this site is associated with Vaishnavism. The word “jina” in the inscription appears only as a single letter “[i]” and was reconstructed as Yajina by Bhandarkar. Therefore, any claims connecting this site to Jainism are unsupported by the primary sources. A similar issue occurs with Benjamin Preciado-Solís’s The Krishna Cycle in the Puranas (page 23), where the actual translation does not include the word “jina.” I request wikipedia moderators to carefully verify the original sources before making conclusions or adding interpretations. ~2026-88392-1 (talk) 13:56, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

Arbitration

  • Due to the result of a recent motion, a rough consensus of administrators at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard may impose an expanded topic ban on Israel, Israelis, Jews, Judaism, Palestine, Palestinians, Islam, and/or Arabs, if an editor's Arab-Israeli conflict topic ban is determined to be insufficient to prevent disruption. At least one diff per area expanded into should be cited.
