Question from Wedysoft (14:45, 15 February 2026)

Hello, I have prepared a page and saved it as permanent. It has not been published for two months. Why? Do I receive a notification for ? Thanks. --Wedysoft (talk) 14:45, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

@Wedysoft: Hi, your page is located in the user namespace, you need to move it yourself to the main namespace. It may take some time after that before it gets approved by a new page reviewer though. Shellwood (talk) 15:13, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
Ho to do that ? where is the : main namespace.  ? Wedysoft (talk) 15:16, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
@Wedysoft: This link explains how it's done: H:MOVE. Shellwood (talk) 15:28, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from Thisiscarmend (15:02, 17 February 2026)

Hi @Shellwood! I wanted to know if the process for creating Disambiguation pages is the same as creating other articles on Wikipedia? May I submit it for your review or can I create it anyway? Thanks! --Thisiscarmend (talk) 15:02, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

@Thisiscarmend: Hi, it depends on what you write on it, but generally it doesn't need any sourcing if it's just a list of links. This is a quick guide on the topic: WP:DDD. You can just submit it and someone will review it, it doesn't have to be me. Shellwood (talk) 15:16, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
Thank you @Shellwood! Thisiscarmend (talk) 22:26, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from Greenchair222 (00:49, 19 February 2026)

How would I create a Wikipedia page? --Greenchair222 (talk) 00:49, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

@Greenchair222: Hi, your account needs to be autoconfirmed before you can publish any articles. That happens automatically after four days and once you have made ten edits. Until then, start by making a draft in your sandbox. This link contains useful information. Shellwood (talk) 12:40, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from PhoeniciaHannibal (17:25, 1 March 2026)

Hello. I'm unable to edit an wikipedia page. Whenever I edit a Wikipedia page and publish it. It does not appear???. Specifically whenever i edit the Lebanon-UK relations or Lebanon Turkey relations pagePhoeniciaHannibal (talk) 17:25, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

@PhoeniciaHannibal: Hi, the pages you mentioned are not protected, so you should be able to edit them. As for your edit to the article about Lebanese nationalism, it was reverted since you removed a chunk of sourced content without explaining why. Also, did you create the accounts Phoenicia1234 and ThePhoenician2? Shellwood (talk) 17:50, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
hello. I did create the account ThePhoencian2. I originally wanted to name it ThePhoencian when I was making the account but said these was all ready a ussr name with that name so I added a 2. But when i logged out of the account I forgot my password so I made this account. I did not create Phoencia1234.
I am unable to edit the wikipedia pages Lebanon-Turkey relations and Lebanon-UK relations.
there are 2 reasons to why this is happening.
A. This is only happening to me.
B. This is some sort of error.
Could you please do me a favour and try to edit both pages and see if your edit is saved or not when after pressing the publish button and then tell me the outcome. Of course you dont have to do this but you would be helping me. Thanks PhoeniciaHannibal (talk) 18:18, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
@PhoeniciaHannibal: The reason I asked about these accounts is that they all share similar names, a similar edit pattern and have been asking the same questions . Administrators can check whether they come from the same IP address. You are allowed to create multiple accounts and there can be several legitimate reasons for doing so. Forgetting a password is understandable and a common reason for creating a new account. However, if you do so, you must be open and honest about it, see WP:SOCK. Another thing worth keeping in mind is something we call the three-revert rule (3RR), which states that one must not make more than three reverts within 24 hours on a page. Breaking this rule can lead to users being blocked and pages being locked. As for why you can’t edit these pages, I really can’t say. I see nothing in the edit filter being triggered. I suggest you ask at the Teahouse, where someone might have an idea if this problem persists. Shellwood (talk) 21:09, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
it's ok the problem has been solved. OK about the accounts. This is new and I did not know this until now. Someone who lives with me made an account called Phoencia1234 because they were interested in Wikipedia however they abandoned it. I became interested after I heard they made one. Me and this person have very similar interests just so you know so that's why me and this person have been editing and asking about similar things and topics. I was aware they made this account but not the name until I asked them. Thank you for your help I really appreciate it have a good day PhoeniciaHannibal (talk) 21:36, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from KelliLove888 (00:11, 2 March 2026)

Hi! I am submitting the Wikipedia article for the musician and artist, Kelli Love. I am not Kelli Loce but I used a similar username Because I have been tasked with doing this in preparation for some bigger major releases she is gong to be featured on this year at the request of the label she will be featured on, We need to beef up the information for the public and go publishing purposes. Can you help me And let me Know when this will be visible! --KelliLove888 (talk) 00:11, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

@KelliLove888: First, you need to declare your conflict of interest and state who is paying you to edit, see this link:WP:COIE. We strongly discourage people from editing topics where they have a conflict of interest. Then there are the notability and verifiability issues. User-generated sources are not considered reliable sources and should never be used in biographies of living people. For example, Discogs is not okay, see WP:DISCOGS. The draft in its current form will never pass, there is not enough independent and reliable coverage of her. My advice to you is to find some other platform to promote her. Shellwood (talk) 00:35, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for ur time and attention to this matter. Im
not being paid. There is no conflict of interest. And all of this is factual with many articles and independent sources online although many of them are obscure ~2026-13327-70 (talk) 00:37, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
@2026-13327-70: There is a conflict of interest if you have been tasked with doing this in preparation for some bigger major releases she is gong to be featured on this year at the request of the label she will be featured on. Anyhow, follow the advice in the links above. Shellwood (talk) 00:50, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from Louis Zolotov (14:19, 5 March 2026)

I have found many of the edits that are appearing in Wikipedia to be tenditious. where someone has changed an entry and presented opinion as fact how can that be challenged. --Louis Zolotov (talk) 14:19, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

@Louis Zolotov: Everything we write here must be supported by reliable references. We don’t base our contributions on our own opinions, nor do we do original research. Broadly speaking, if someone adds unsourced material, it can be challenged and reverted. You can also start a discussion on the article’s talk page about the changes, see WP:BRD, that is often a good solution. Shellwood (talk) 14:38, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from Ladahosen (15:57, 6 March 2026)

I noticed that an article was inaccurate and I wish to update it. I have the tour schedule for Joe's Drum by John McGrath. I was a member of 7:84 theatre company in 1979 and know that the play toured until the 10th of November 1979. I have the complete schedule for the second tour of the play. The final performance was on the 10th of November 1979 in Cumbernaild theatre. How can I correct the article? --Ladahosen (talk) 15:57, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

@Ladahosen: Hi, if you spot an error, just change it. I left a welcoming template on your talk page that contains a useful introduction on how to get started here, including how to add references, links to policies and guidelines and how to manage conflicts of interest among other things. Question from User:SanInsanity (0:18, 6 March 2026)

Hi!

How can I edit the user page of someone other than myself? I noticed that you recently removed the category from my page and I wanted to know how you do it, since I'm still new.

Thanks!

-- SanInsanity SanInsanity (talk) 00:18, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

@SanInsanity: Hi, I removed it because of WP:USERNOCAT. There are plenty of user categories that you might add to your user page instead. Shellwood (talk) 11:23, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from AdarshMshra on Draft talk:Prafull Billore (05:01, 10 March 2026)

Hi, I have an article about a famous Indian entrepreneur, a public figure who I've seen has been covered in a lot of top-tier new media outlets. I wanted to create my first article, so I was trying to create it, but it got deleted. I don't know why. I didn't have ill intent. I just want to contribute to creating articles on wikipedia.

Can you help me do better? --AdarshMshra (talk) 05:01, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

@AdarshMshra: Hi, it was deleted under WP:G15 and it appears that you used an AI to write it. You also used user-generated sources, which are not considered reliable. I can't access the draft, so I don't know the exact details. Follow this guide if you make another attempt at creating an article. Shellwood (talk) 13:32, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
