Welcome!

On Wikipedia, I spent some time updating the Fibromyalgia page -- and the community is very thankful of these improvements.[1]

Invitation

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles, and I wanted to say that a bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if that's an area of editing that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Feel free to put the group's page on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:16, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

October 2025

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to San Benedetto Belbo when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:44, 2 October 2025 (UTC)

Hello @Zackmann08 and thank you for taking the time to explain the error and for your positive approach. This edit was done via the Wikipedia App on a mobile phone. It has some options for suggested edits, one of which is adding images to entries. The edit is semi-automatic, so I have no control over where and how the image is inserted. I will try using the preview, but the issue is probably more general and perhaps should be discussed elsewhere. Unfortunately, I do not have the technical knowledge on how to fix it. SigTif (talk) 01:54, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for explaining! Appreciate you adding the image. Keep up the good work! Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 01:57, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

Invitation to join the Vital Signs campaign

Hello! I saw you add yourself as a participant to the WP:WikiProject Medicine last summer. I wanted to invite you to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Vital Signs 2026 campaign, where we're aiming to improve all of our 100 top-importance articles. I've recently reclassified fibromyalgia as top-importance given its high pageviews, and it would be lovely if that articles gets some more attention to check for accuracy and dated information.

I'd also like to invite you to add yourself to the newsletter mailing list if you'd like to stay up-to-date with the group. Finally, did you know we have a Collaboration of the Month? Great place to work together with more experienced editors and learn about Wikipedia's guideline for medical editing, such as the one on using recent secondary sources. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 22:11, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

"Outdated" sources and further reading items

Some but not all sources older than 10 years are entirely "outdated". Sometimes they continue to contain useful content even though portions may be outdated. Sometimes they have relevant historical content. Please stop making blanket removal of such items. Please list those you wish to delete on the article's talk page and wait for discussion instead of unilaterally deciding that you know what readers are capable of distinguishing between useful and outdated. Wikipedia is a collaborative project that sometimes requires a consensus of opinions. And note that the burden is on you to make the case for removal, not on the Wikipedia community to justify retaining the information. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 16:44, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
