Thank you!
Hello, SimLibrarian,
Thank you for going back to fix articles with problems that were noted years ago. Many editors focus on creating new articles or fighting vandalism, not cleaning up mistakes that have hung around for years so thanks for putting in the time on less glamorous but absolutely necessary tasks like these. It's noted and much appreciated! Liz Read! Talk! 21:35, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you so much!! The encouragement is really welcome! SimLibrarian (talk) 02:59, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Spoken Wikipedia Project
Hey there - do you have any on-going interest in this project? Just happened by your profile and thought I ask. I have some ideas if it's something you're interested in. - Scarpy (talk) 17:03, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi! Yes, I'm still interested in this project. What are you thinking about? SimLibrarian (talk) 18:55, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
You've got mail

It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template. Onyekachi Victor Chidubem (talk) 10:35, 27 September 2022 (UTC)

Unit conversion templates
You may find that {{cvt}} is a better fit than {{convert}}. See my changes on top of yours at blue-eyed black lemur. Cheers! - UtherSRG (talk) 10:45, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

Balducci's, why take out trivial pop culture references?
SimLibrarian, I noticed you took out seven of references to the NYC fancy grocer Balducci's in film, television and a play. But you didn't take out one reference, to a song. This doesn't matter at all of course. But 1) why take out those seven but leave one? 2) Why take out those references at all? They seem to me to show the cultural impact of the store in the 1980s, in particular describing it as a place that signifies wealth or a kind of sophistication. HighAtop94 (talk) 17:39, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- The one reference I left had a citation. Per MOS:POPCULT, pop culture references must have a citation to be included in a list like this. I probably should have removed it as well due to the quality level of the citation. SimLibrarian (talk) 17:47, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
Broken external links
I've noticed that you remove broken external links from articles. As an alternative to removing broken external links, I prefer to try to replace them with an archived version from the Wayback Machine, https://web.archive.org To try to find an archived version, you can paste the URL into the search box, or you can rewrite the external link using {{cite web}}, and then run https://iabot.toolforge.org/index.php Eastmain (talk • contribs) 21:16, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'll do what I can to incorporate archive links. SimLibrarian (talk) 21:39, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
Invitation

Hello SimLibrarian!
- The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
- We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
- Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
- If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!
