Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Starmer ministry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Leader of the House. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Edit summaries

Good day. You recently made two edits at Starmer ministry. Both were marked 'Fixed typo'; however, neither was a typo, as extra information was added. Although leaving edit summaries is praiseworthy, it is important that they are accurate, even if quite general. When editing on a mobile device, the app provides two options, 'Fixed typo' and 'Fixed grammar', but these should be used only when they fairly describe the change; the free-text box is otherwise better. ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:43, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to 2024–present structural changes to local government in England. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Vestrian24Bio 03:11, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for your message. Can you please explain what you think is wrong with my title?
I'm happy to adjust the title further, but the original title was/is factually inaccurate. I originally renamed this article on 11 December and there have been multiple edits since then by users who did not question the article renaming. I was attempting to make the title accurate and to be consistent with the titles of the articles '2009 structural changes to local government in England' and '2019–2023 structural changes to local government in England'.
The two articles above are titled based on the 'go live' dates of the new local authorities. Those new local authorities were officially founded (went live) on 1 April 2009, 1 April 2019, 1 April 2020, 1 April 2021 and 1 April 2023.
It is an objective fact that there were no structural changes to local government in England in either 2024 or 2025. It is already too late for any of the proposed local authorities in the article in question to go live on 1 April 2026. The government have made this clear (see multiple citations in the article).
As is cited in the article, the government plans for the new authorities in Surrey to go live on 1 April 2027 and all other authorities listed in this article to go live in 1 April 2028. This is why I renamed the article.
Many feel that the government's timetable here is overly ambitious and it is quite possible that there will be delays. For this reason, I added the words 'planned changes' into the new title.
The original/current title is objectively factually inaccurate. There have been no structural changes to local government in England between 2024 and the present day. This article is discussing planned future changes which will go live no earlier than 1 April 2027.
Thank you. Simon373737 (talk) 09:06, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Just request it through WP:RM, if you want. Vestrian24Bio 11:30, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Copying licensed material requires attribution

Hi. I see in a couple of recent additions to you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Open Government Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future, and go back and add it to any other material you added that has the Open Govt License. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:04, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi Diana. I have accidentally overwritten your edits as I was mid edit at the time. Simon373737 (talk) 00:26, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

I didn't precisely copy the material. I just tried to better reflect it. I'm not sure of the copyright rules. Simon373737 (talk) 00:27, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

I haven't uploaded any images. Which image are you referring to? Simon373737 (talk) 02:20, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
I understand now. Copilot gave me the wrong words. I believe my attribution is fine with the text you deleted removed. Simon373737 (talk) 02:30, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
Please don't use LLMs on Wikipedia. We want you to write in your own words. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:41, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
