{{#ifeq:yes|no||Royal angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus), Ras Muhammad National Park, Red Sea, Egypt. The body of the royal angelfish is moderately elongate, is very compressed and can reach a length of up to 25 centimetres (9.8 in) It's widely distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific and can be found in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean around East Africa and the Maldives, stretching to the Tuamoto Islands, New Caledonia, and Great Barrier Reef. The royal angelfish occurs at depths ranging from 0 to 80m (0 to 262 ft), in coral rich areas of lagoons, reefs, and are also often found in the vicinity of caves. It is a carnivorous species that feeds on sponges and tunicates located throughout reefs and underwater caves. They are a non-migratory species that can be found solitary, in pairs, or groups. Probably the most spectacular fish I've ever seen underwater in terms of colors. we have no FPs of the whole family Pomacanthidae (marine angelfishes).}

Question from Cooldood5555 (18:41, 1 February 2026)
Hello! Is there any way to link a page from one language to another. I’m trying to link Duellplakatet to the Swedish version. How do I go about doing that? Also, love the name. --Regards, a most likely very cozy Cooldood5555 ✈️ (let's talk) 18:41, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! Connecting the articles on multiple different language Wikipedia's is relatively easy. You can follow the steps here. Also, I took a look at the article and there are some issues that will need to be resolved so that it doesn't risk getting deleted or moved back to draft space. For the book that you are using as a reference, a link to it is super helpful to other editors, and you need to include the author's name and the page that you found the relevant information on. WP:CITE has all the helpful information for how to do citations. Let me know if you run into any issues! Snuggle📫 20:01, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
- That was a translation of the Swedish page. It doesn’t have any further data on the book. And thanks for the welcome, but I’ve been here for four months haha! I’m even a mentor myself, just absolutely could not figure this one out. Thanks! Regards, a most likely very cozy Cooldood5555 ✈️ (let's talk) 23:25, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Really appreciate the time you've spent on chocolate chip cookie and candle salad, giving quality feedback and kind words. Hope you're well. Rollinginhisgrave (talk | edits) 07:55, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you! I enjoyed doing the reviews. It's always nice when a nominator responds quickly and takes feedback well. Food articles are really fun to review for me. I have been wanting to work on a food article myself but my adhd tends to enjoy reviewing and copy editing more than anything else. Snuggle📫 08:21, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

- Same goes for you, if I can be of any help with any articles let me know. I'd be happy to help out. And I might take you up on your offer once I get around to picking a food to work on. Snuggle📫 20:59, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I realised today we don't have an article for smashed cucumber if that takes your fancy; the NYT did a writeup a few years back here so there's at least one good source. Rollinginhisgrave (talk | edits) 04:42, 4 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from TJH1992 (14:35, 6 February 2026)
I am trying to add to, expand and amend a page. I have a connection to the company and am therefore understand I need to do this by requesting this change via the Talk page.
is there a best way to do this? --TJH1992 (talk) 14:35, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! For conflict of interest editing, best practice is disclosing it on the talk page and/or your user page. There is information here that gives a step by step process on what to do and how to do it. When you request an edit to be done on a page, it may take some time to complete because another editor will need time to review the sources provided and add or change the information as appropriate. Hello! I just wanted to ask about this page and what needs to be updated in it. Kindly please respond fast. --Clowny1841 (talk) 16:53, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome to Wikipedia, I do not work on medical articles normally so I am unable to answer what may need to be updated in that particular article. Normally, we recommend that new editors start with smaller and easier edits that are suggested to you on your homepage. The suggested edits are a great way to start getting an understanding of how Wikipedia works. You can also get additional help from a wider range of editors at the teahouse. Happy editing! Question from Twiddly2 (06:58, 14 February 2026)
Hi,
My edit was reverted by another user who claimed that nothing in my source article showed that the person I added to Notable People lives in Park City, UT. They are wrong and this is public knowledge that anyone can find on Google in 10 seconds, but I went ahead and added another source reference anyway. It just looks a bit strange now, footnote 50 appearing on a new line rather than right beside footnote 49 (source for her 2010 gold medal). What did I do wrong? Thanks. --Twiddly2 (talk) 06:58, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Twiddly2: and welcome to Wikipedia! I took a look and it looks like the changes were reverted because the first source you added isn't really relevant to the Park City, Utah article, the second source was a bit better but could be improved. Also, best practice is to not use bare url's as references because they are prone to link rot. I went ahead and found a couple sources from some of our trusted sources and added them with the appropriate citation templates. I have left a message on your talk page with some helpful links to get you started with editing. Snuggle📫 07:40, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for cleaning it up, finding the other sources, and explaining. And for creating my Talk page which I only just learned about. I think this is likely the only edit I'm going to do - I better leave these things to the experts. If there's a next time, I'll try to do a better job and maybe run it by you first. Best regards. Twiddly2 (talk) 08:25, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- We all started somewhere, your edit caused more information to be added to an article. One essay that helped me to be more confident in my edits when I first started was can't break it, because as long as you're editing in good faith any edits that you make that another editor disagrees with can be reverted and discussed. I highly recommend the Wikipedia Adventure if you're interested in continuing to edit, it can help a lot with getting more comfortable. And of course, if you have any questions I would be happy to help. Snuggle📫 09:03, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks! Oh, it's not that I'm unwilling to be helpful, but rather I'm not inclined to get into petty edit wars. My opinion is that the user who reverted my edit should have done what you did, which was look for other sources deemed more reliable and/or relevant instead of deleting the entire edit. There was zero discussion, which would have been appreciated. Where would we be today if everything that was not quite right were made to vanish instead of improved upon? Anyway, I have looked over the guides in your message. I should have used the Visual Editor instead of the Code Editor previously. Twiddly2 (talk) 10:01, 14 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from Jfagiolo (18:33, 17 February 2026)
Hi , I need to create a page for my small business --Jfagiolo (talk) 18:33, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. We have quite a few guidelines that would be relevant for a new page about your business. To start, Wikipedia is not a place for advertisements and promotion. Articles about businesses are subject to the notability guidelines for organizations and companies, and an important note is that no organization has inherent significance. We need to have multiple verifiable and independent sources to show the notability of a particular subject. If you feel that your business would be able to fulfill the notability guidelines then I would recommend that instead of writing the article yourself, post a request to the reward board so that a neutral editor can work on it. I suggest this because we also have a lot of guidelines around conflict of interest and you would not be able to provide a neutral point of view for your own company. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help. Snuggle📫 09:22, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
Question from Recruitthis82 (18:51, 20 February 2026)
hello, I created my first article and would love some feedback. Are you able to review? Also what is my next steps to get it live??? --Recruitthis82 (talk) 18:51, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! I am able to review drafts but the article draft that you created is well out of my wheelhouse. I can take a more thorough look tomorrow but from what I see, it generally looks good. The only thing I see at first glance is that the title will likely be changed and the article might be too technical for the average reader. More information on the draft process can be found here. You have submitted the article correctly which means it has been added to the queue of drafts to be reviewed. An editor (who typically has more experience and knowledge in the field) will review it and determine if the article is ready to go to the main article space or if it needs some more work. They may make suggestions or changes. You will typically get a notification on your talk page if your draft receives any comments or has been declined/accepted. I hope this answers your question, let me know if I can help with any further questions. I also left a few helpful links on your talk page. And again, welcome! Snuggle📫 11:33, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
Question from Clawikiaccount (08:46, 23 February 2026)
Hi I was working on an article and kept it in the draft. Now I am unable to locate it. Could you please help? --Clawikiaccount (talk) 08:46, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi and welcome! I took a look at your contributions and I don't see any drafts listed. If you didn't hit the publish changes button after making the changes to a page then it would not be saved. If you have things that you would like to save to add to main space articles at a different time then a good place to do that would be your sandbox. For example, if you were to look at my sandbox, I have links to essays that I find useful as well as links to some of my other sandboxes that are works in progress for articles that are live. I also added a few helpful links to your talk page to help you get started with editing. Happy editing! Snuggle📫 10:02, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
Question from Vincentsavolainen (07:28, 27 February 2026)
I have spent some time over the last two days editing the page of Antoine Guisan, following Wikipedia guidelines, because the current page was not only misleading and incomplete, but absolutely appalling for a researcher of that standing. WikiDan61 deleted all my work. May I ask who is he to have that authority? If he was an employee of Wikipedia, what was the reason for deleting my edits? --Vincentsavolainen (talk) 07:28, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Vincentsavolainen: welcome to Wikipedia. It looks like the reason that @WikiDan61: reverted your edits was because you didn't provide reliable sources for any of your changes. We have very strict policies and guidelines in place for articles about living people. WikiDan61 was following the correct procedure regarding an article about a living person. This was not a malicious act and was done in good faith. As editors, we all have equal ability and responsibility to be bold and add or remove information from an article, to revert changes that are not appropriate or do not follow Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and to discuss those reversions to come to a consensus. In this particular case, all you would need to do is to find reliable, independent sources for all of the information that you would like to add and correct in the article. Don't be discouraged, many new editors have their edits reverted because they are not aware of the various policies that we have in place. I have put a few helpful links on your talk page and please let me know if you have any additional questions. Snuggle📫 09:30, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- I am fully aware of Wikipedia’s policies regarding sourcing and citations, and I intended to add the appropriate references. However, my edits were reverted by WikiDan61 within minutes of being completed, before I had the opportunity to finalize the citations.
- I find it discouraging that while I am frequently approached by bad-faith actors offering questionable editing services through fake accounts, a genuine contributor acting in good faith has their work reverted so quickly. This experience does not reflect the collaborative and constructive spirit that Wikipedia strives to uphold as a global, community-driven resource.
- I respectfully request that my changes be restored so that I may properly add the necessary references and ensure the content meets Wikipedia’s standards.
- Thank you Vincentsavolainen (talk) 09:11, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Vincentsavolainen: (talk page watcher) Not Snugglebuns, but you can restore your edits yourself – see here on how to do so. Be sure to not edit war though, that is taken very seriously. An edit war is when you make 3 or more reverts to a page within 24 hours, and is not allowed. The standard process reverts is the bold, revert, discuss cycle, which is when you act WP:BOLD and revert an edit, the revert is reverted, and there is a discussion on the talk page about how to best proceed. In short, you are allowed and able to revert reversions of your work, as long as you do not fall afoul of the edit warring guidelines. Regards, Grumpylawnchair (talk) 03:58, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks but your reply has a lot of jargon that makes it difficult to follow: for example a sentence like "The standard process reverts is the bold, revert, discuss cycle, which is when you act WP:BOLD and revert an edit, the revert is reverted, and there is a discussion on the talk page about how to best proceed" does not make much sense in plain English. Vincentsavolainen (talk) 14:28, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- What Grumpy was saying is that our standard process is that we boldly make a change that we believe should be made (which is called being bold) so for example the reversion that WikiDan61 made in the first place, you would then revert that change, and then if there is still disagreement on the change all involved editors would go to the talk page of the article and discuss it. The point of this being that we are all aiming to have a consensus. WikiDan61 provided links to help pages in their last reply to you that should be helpful in showing you how to reinstate your previous edits. I will also agree with the sentiment that you need to immediately add citations if you reinstate the reverted edits. Best practice is to add citations as you go, it honestly makes it easier in the long run. Snuggle📫 15:02, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Vincentsavolainen: The expectation on articles edits is that it is ready for the main space rather than the draft space. If you want to leave something in essentially a work-in-progress state, I would suggest drafting it a sandbox (you can find your user sandbox here). When you've found all the sources, you can then copy & paste it into the article. Sariel Xilo (talk) 17:54, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

Do you have time for a peer review (Wikipedia:Peer review/Magic: The Gathering/archive2)? I suggested it to a new editor who seems to be attempting to tackle cleanup by removing sourced sections. Question from R.mantic (09:24, 8 March 2026)
Hello, I can definitely look into proper guidelines another time when I'm not so busy with life but I wanted to have someone maybe go over this wiki article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Walewska#cite_note-11 I was very bothered by big chunks of it having no sources, so I very much improvised how to add the "citation needed" note, but there's also a section "Lawsuit" that cites (10) just some random french with no links and I didn't know how to address that
Thank you for your time! --R.mantic (talk) 09:24, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- That article is a mess, that happens sometimes. Ok, so the best place to start would be to clean up the uncited information. What I typically do is attempt to find sources for anything that has a citation needed tag or I believe could be challenged. Anything that I am unable to find a source for will either get trimmed out or at the very least cleaned up so that it fits with the manual of style. The random bit of French that you mentioned is actually a citation, albeit not well formatted. It looks like it is this book. I went ahead and reformatted it to a citation template so that it will be easier to work with. I couldn't find an online scan of that book during my brief search so the resource exchange may be helpful. Or a different source can probably be found altogether. I also added some maintenance tags to the top of the article so that it is categorized with other articles that need attention. Snuggle📫 12:24, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
