Help me!

Please help me with... I'm not sure whether Hill v. Cundiff should be considered BLP or not. It's not a biography exactly but it's about living people. And I'm worried because there are a lot of places where citations are needed that should be cut if it's BLP. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 00:19, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
- Anything about living persons on any area of Wikipedia fall under the WP:BLP policy. So even though that the article is about a court case, any statements made about a living person has to abide by the stronger BLP policy. I agree that there is a lot of unverified information in that article. cyberdog958Talk 00:36, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 00:40, 4 May 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Ukrainian companies established in 2017

A tag has been placed on Category:Ukrainian companies established in 2017 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. ✗plicit 14:53, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

Categories added want to eliminate orphan page
M. Ali Pasha many categories has been updated. You are requested to check if more suggestion or improvement required. Jasminelauren791 (talk) 17:59, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
- Updated! But I don't think that adding categories will de-orphan a page. Ideally, we'd want to link the article from other articles. I think Wikipedia:WikiProject Orphanage has more info if you're interested !SomeoneDreaming (talk) 18:03, 18 August 2025 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Eme Eyzaguirre
Hello SomeoneDreaming, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Eme Eyzaguirre, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eme Eyzaguirre.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vgbyp}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

alleged copyright violation
could you clarify? no copyright violation on Tidarren. Sarefo (talk) 22:19, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- I took it from Dippenaar, which is cc-by. so if I ref them, it should be fine, right? Sarefo (talk) 22:20, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- actually, let me investigate for a minute. this might be from an earlier revision by someone else. I just want to make sure we're not messing this up. Sarefo (talk) 22:23, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- nope, it's paraphrased from Dippenaar (2021). So I reverted it for now. If you disagree, let's sort it out here first, thank you :) Sarefo (talk) 22:24, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- No worries, thank you for reaching out! I was actually writing on your talk page when I got your message that you were here. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 22:24, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, I do see the attribution templates on the description and taxonomy sections, so I'll restore those. I don't see one on the life style section, and it's looking like it comes from https://doi.org/10.1080/00222930600940993 ? SomeoneDreaming (talk) 22:23, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- I took it from Dippenaar (2021). as they are cc-by, it should not be our problem as long as I ref them, or am I seeing that wrong? Sarefo (talk) 22:26, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- For the Life style section, you didn't cite Dippenaar. But if you go back and do that with the attribution section as you did for the other sections, that should be fine. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 22:27, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- ok, will do so. thank you! Sarefo (talk) 22:28, 4 October 2025 (UTC)

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Pureza Canelo, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. SMasonGarrison 13:22, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for the heads up. I was using the Content Translation tool which automatically adds the categories the article is in on Spanish Wikipedia; I appreciate you cleaning that up, and I'll try to remember that step next time. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 21:05, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
- Sounds good! SMasonGarrison 01:44, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
