Creating new categories is tricky, because filling them up often involves editing numerous (highly visible) articles. Those articles can be categorized in hundreds of ways, and we should choose only some (basic, stable, not violating WP:NPOV, etc.). Typically a category created in a rush is deleted by the community, with the concomitant removal of it from all affected articles. This annoys editors by cluttering watchlists. Hallo, thanks for starting the article on End stage pulmonary disease. Please note that when alternative titles are in bold it's because they are the targets of redirects pointing to the page, so that people landing there can quickly see why. So as well as bolding the alternative title, please create a redirect from it (or hatnote, or disambiguation page entry). I've just created redirects from End stage lung disease and ESLD, and made a new disambiguation page at ESPD. All this helps the reader to find the article, and reduces the risk of another editor accidentally creating a duplicate article through not finding this one - in this case someone else might have searched for End stage lung disease, not spotted it, and started work. • User:EvergreenFir how is "Transgender" a BLP article? Transgender is not a person.

• And why are you instantly talking about blocking me after one or two edits to gender pages?

• why was the editor who started the conversation given an indefinite block without previous shorter blocks as wiki normally does?

• and how was what he did "trolling", he just asked if he could add content to the article based on his ref. I have seen other people do that and not get anything other than "add that" or "don't add that", like on the Mycoplasma article in the cancer section. That is what talk pages are for, it helps to decide what to add.

• Wikipedia has a neutral point of view policy, wouldn't adding info about how Transgender-ism might be a mental illness or at least be related somehow with co-morbidity make the article more neutral (given that refs to reliable journals are given)

• Isn't a talk page to discuss what the content of an article should be, and, if so, can't it be used to ask if content should be added based on a particular ref (is it reliable or not). Wasn't that what I and the other editor were doing?

• Why not just say "don't add that to the article, the ref is not reliable enough" on that talk page instead of talking about blocking, makes me wonder if Wiki is really about neutrality and encyclopedic information or political propaganda.

Seems to me there is a huge bias here on Wikipedia and that conversation really opened my eyes to just how liberal and political Wiki might actually be.

Notes: Many so called conspiracy theories like New World Order are no longer fringe, and most Americans now think JFK was shot by deep state (which I agree with). Most Americans no longer believe in man made Global Warming either after the emails were leaked from corrupt scientists and businessmen in Europe. I actually find it offensive that Wiki classifies Global Warming Skepticism aka "Denialism" under "Pseudoscience", the same category that includes the Flat Earth Society, comparing the flat earth society to global warming skeptics is like comparing the Mississippi River to the creek you find in someones backyard or comparing The Germ theory of disease to the theory that aliens seeded earth with life.

I wasn't asking you to delete your comments, Spidersmilk, I was explaining a problem with your argument. If you had decided that you agree with what I said, you could have added a note saying you've changed your mind, or best yet, used <s></s> tags to strike out parts of your comments you don't stand by anymore. Like this. It's considered very inappropriate to remove or alter any other editor's comments in almost all cases.

Even when things go off on a tangent, as our discussion did, it's best not to change the course of discussion at all. I've seen it before, and even the most well-intentioned changes often make it confusing for someone who hasn't been a part of the discussion to follow along. That being said, there are no hard feelings.

One final note: I notice that you're not indenting properly. Whenever you reply to a comment, you should indent your reply one level further than that comment, to preserve and show the flow of discussion. You can accomplish this by putting one or more colons (:) at the beginning of each line of your reply. The number of colons you use indicates the level of indentation. When things get too far indented, you can use the {{outdent}} template to bring things back to the left, while preserving the flow. This is apropos of nothing really but I just spotted your user name on another page and it made me laugh out loud, and I thought you might find this story amusing. About 15 years ago when the Internet was still wearing short trousers there was a website - Answers.com (it still exists) - that in those days anyone could edit, and it often featured at the top of Google searches. My friend and I fixed it so that anybody who googled "how heavy is a spider" was directed to a spoof page that we'd created, which stated:

Whilst the Appalachian forest spider can weigh as little as 0.1 milligrams when fully grown, the Alaskan wooly-back log spider weighs in at a whopping 2.5 ounces! Giving birth to only one spiderling in any given season, the wooly-back has the largest birth canal in the spider kingdom, and it's half-ounce young can suckle upto 3 grams of milk in one sitting!

The fact that it remained at the top spot on Google searches for about 3-4 years amused us immensely, and even after it was knocked off the top spot it was still the top answer when you googled "how heavy is a spider at birth" for a couple of years. Apparently the mixing of metric and imperial units wasn't enough to tip anyone off, nor was the fact that spiders don't give birth to live young. Doing a quick search just now it turns out that our contribution is still online! It's been refactored, but the only material change to the text seems to have been to replace the exclamation mark with a full stop. So funny! nagualdesign 04:13, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
