Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Tanhaji, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 03:13, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at No Fathers in Kashmir, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 19:12, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Tanhaji. When removing a maintenance template, please either ensure that the problem that the template refers to has been resolved, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. I feel like some of the edits could be kept such as the removal of the unnecessary explanation of ALS then again I'm the novice here. Stanjik (talk) 20:14, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

If you intend to contribute productively here, please slow down and learn more about Wikipedia first. Virtually all of your edits so far have been removed. You cannot just copy text from elsewhere - you need to write in your own words. Jessicapierce (talk) 19:17, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

I apologize deeply for this,I thought simply citing such article was enough I wasn't aware of copyright infringement extending to print media,I'll me more careful and do more research the next time. Stanjik (talk) 20:06, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Jessicapierce. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on N. Mahalingam, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Jessicapierce (talk) 01:54, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

To be more clear, you cannot say that someone has been accused of sexual misconduct without giving sources. You made a number of improvements to the article, so I'm not reverting the rest of your changes. Jessicapierce (talk) 01:54, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Yelwata

I see what you meant as far as the sources go, so I removed the Christian News source, but you need to be careful in the future about removing sources blindly. Nonetheless, I apologize for the revert.

Well regards, Plasticwonder (talk) 09:10, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
