Speedy Deletion
Hi Can You Help Me , i Am New to wikipedia , i am writing an article on a notable individual Thavi Achharya . It Was Marked As Speedy Deletion. I Need Help To Refactor The Content Thavi Achharya (talk) 17:22, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Thavi Achharya: Hi there! I see that you are writing a biography article of yourself which are highly discouraged in Wikipedia, please read Wikipedia:Autobiography carefully. But if you do believe that the contents are notable (see WP:N) to be included in Wikipedia, you may write one in WP:AFC while making sure there are no WP:PROMO (promotional) contents (you may refer to other countless biographies here!) and written in the most WP:NPOV (neutral) way. Contents in other namespace (such as starting with User:) are more likely to be deleted. Syn73 (talk) 17:52, 7 April 2025 (UTC)

Inappropriate use of userpage blanking
I noticed that you have been blanking some userpages. Your actions are against policy. Please read Wikipedia:User pages#On others' user pages prior to doing that again. Note that it states If the material must be addressed urgently (for example, unambiguous copyright, attack, defamation, or BLP reasons, etc.), the user appears inactive, your edit appears unlikely to cause problems, and you are quite sure the material is inappropriate, then remove or fix the problem material minimally ... If the entire page is inappropriate, consider blanking it, or redirecting the subpage to the userpage, or to the most relevant existing mainspace or project space page.
Note the word urgently applies to that paragraph. Blanking should be rarely used.
Normally you should nominate the page for speedy deletion with the appropriate tag (e.g., U5: using Wikipedia as page host, A11: advertising). Also read WP:DELETEOTHER, which discusses considering pages for deletion. By nominating the page, another editor (an administrator) will come along and review the nomination for appropriateness prior to deleting the page. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 02:46, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Rsjaffe: Alright noted! I think I have been too lenient on the new user since I found out that there is an option to blank user page instead of speedy delete. Much thanks for the notice. Syn73 (talk) 02:49, 9 April 2025 (UTC)

William Pellen changes
First, having stuff like the name of his wife and relatives is normal if it is cited correctly, this info is everywhere on fan wikis, and the citation was interviews and credits. The credits for the games are also easily findable online, I'll link them here for convenience. . Next, the Twitter account is confirmed to be him, by playtester and friend "Graig". - Hi @TheSilksongPikmin: the sources you listed here and in the original page are not reliable sources and shouldn't be used in citation. See WP:SPS where YouTube and Reddit shouldn't be treated as verifiable sources and using WP:OR. Additionally I don't think including the names of their family are suitable for a game developer's article especially since the names are only seen in the game credits and nowhere else. Cheers, Syn73 (talk) 02:20, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, please do not automatically see them as unreliable due to being youtube, they are normally unreliable, but here, they are interviews with pellen himself from reliable sources. I included the credits here as youtube for archival purposes, Pellen names his wife in a Kotaku interview that was linked on the page previously, per WP:ABOUTSELF it is acceptable. TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 10:55, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- And for the reddit post, yes they are normally unreliable, but here it has been verified by reliable sources to be posted by someone close to William Pellen
- "Graig" is a verified individual who worked with Team Cherry, per GamesRadar+ and TheGamer. TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 10:57, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
