Arbitration

  • Following a motion, remedy 9.1 of the Conduct in deletion-related editing case has been amended to limit TenPoundHammer to one XfD nomination or PROD per 24-hour period.
  • Following a motion, the Iskandar323 further POV pushing motion has been rescinded.
  • The Arbitration Committee has passed a housekeeping motion rescinding a number of outdated remedies and enforcement provisions across multiple legacy cases. Title case

Thanks for the correction on the As Alive as You Need Me to Be title case. I've been blindly using that tool (top Google result), for convenience, and it turns out they have a bug in Wikipedia capitalization where they're capitalizing "to" used in an infinitive, the exact opposite of what the guidelines say.  Tabanger  08:46, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

It's no problem. I've had the same issue when first editing on Wikipedia a while back.
The website isn't a glitch. It's just programmed to show title case without any preference to the infinitives. I have used the same website to change citations on here that use all caps to at least sentence case. Funny enough, I looked to see if there's a website out there programmed for Wikipedia for title caps and found this, which mentions Wikipedia's MOS. There's also userscripts. – The Grid (talk) 00:43, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

  • Special report: What actually happened during the Wikimedia security incident?
A horrifying exploit took place, which could have had catastrophic and far-reaching consequences if used maliciously; instead, it seems to have happened by accident and was used for childish vandalism. How did this happen, and what did the script actually do?
