Your submission at Articles for creation: Nobuhisa Ishizuka (January 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Somepinkdude was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Source-to-text issues in an article that you created today

Hi The Galactic force, could you address the concerns at Talk:Diane Joseph-McCarthy § Text-to-source issues? --Gurkubondinn (talk) 13:54, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

LLMDISCLOSE

Hello there. Have you been using an LLM for your edits here on Wikipedia recently? If so, could you WP:LLMDISCLOSE:

  • What tool(s) you are using, and which versions.
  • What prompts, features, etc that you are using.
  • What review, if any, you are doing of the LLM generated output text.

Thank you, --Gurkubondinn (talk) 13:55, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Diane Joseph-McCarthy moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Diane Joseph-McCarthy. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Theroadislong (talk) 14:22, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Gurkubondinn. An edit that you recently made to Tim Brighouse seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 16:10, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

One of these ISBNs is hallucinated: Diff/1330919483. That ISBN is assigned to a different book of his. And the books themselves can't be used as sources for the books in his biography, you are using the books as sources to support anything other than their own existence, you need WP:SECONDARY sources. Can you please stop pasting LLM output into Wikipedia? --Gurkubondinn (talk) 16:12, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Diane Joseph-McCarthy

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Diane Joseph-McCarthy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, as it exhibits signs of having been generated by an AI model with no clear human review. Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia and output must be carefully checked. For further information, see the section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think these signs were incorrectly identified and you assert that you did carefully check the content, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally – if you would like to create an article but find it difficult, please ask for help at the Teahouse. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 11:45, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Instead of helping me, you are just wasting my efforts. I have already addressed those issues and corrected the entire draft. Why are you still putting it up for speedy deletion? I removed the LLM-generated content to ensure the page complies with Wikipedia guidelines. I carefully followed the guidelines, fixed the page, and still you had it deleted? The Galactic force (talk) 11:51, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
Because this was not your efforts. This was a string of words generated by a program. And you did not "fix the page", you just removed two instances of unsupported claims that I pointed out to you, the page was still written by a program. You decided to WP:DRAFTOBJECT, so the page would need to stand up to scrutiny. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 12:01, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
@Gurkubondinn, I am really sorry. I wasn’t aware of all these things, but I will make sure to be careful about them in the future. The Galactic force (talk) 12:02, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
And yet moved the page back to article space after being made aware of this. I suggest that you take the warning that you were given below very seriously. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 12:05, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
@Gurkubondinn When I saw the tag on the page, it said that if I resolved the issue, I could either submit it or move the article back to main space. I resolved the issue, so I moved the draft to main space. There was nothing rude in what I did. If I made any mistakes, I am open to guidance. Why would there be a need to be rude? Isn’t it part of Wikipedia’s policies to be humble with new editors? Aren’t new editors supposed to be helped in learning these things? The Galactic force (talk) 12:20, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
You were not rude, there are no issues with your communication or civility as far as I am concerned. The issue is that you did not "fix" anything by removing the source-to-text issues that were pointed out to you. The problem is that this was not your own work, but it was the output of a program. You removed a symptom, but the "disease" (as far as the analogy goes) was still there because the text is still machine-generated. Actually fixing the the problem would involve deleting the machine generated text, researching the subject yourself, and writing a fully sourced draft yourself. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 12:28, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
@Gurkubondinn This makes sense now. Just one last question: if I rewrite and submit the same page again myself, without using any LLM this time, would it be eligible to go live? Since it was recently deleted, I just want to confirm whether that would cause any issues. The Galactic force (talk) 11:29, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
Probably The Galactic force, or at least there wouldn't be any objections on any technical grounds. The only question would be if she meets WP:NBIO and WP:NACADEMIC, which mostly depends on secondary sources. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 12:26, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

Warning for LLM usage

Warning icon This is your only warning. If you continue to unconstructively edit Wikipedia using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology) without human review, as you did at Diane Joseph-McCarthy, you will be blocked from editing. In particular, you used an LLM to create an article that had fake citations and information. This undermines Wikipedia's attempt to be a reliable informational source. If this happens again, you will be blocked.----SouthernNights (talk) 11:56, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Diane Joseph-Mccarthy (March 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by ChrysGalley were:
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Wikipedia guidelines prohibit the use of LLMs to write articles from scratch. In addition, LLM-generated articles usually have multiple quality issues, to include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.
This submission appears to read more like a résumé than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, that provide secondary analysis of the subject's life in context. In contrast, résumés will tend to list individual accomplishments and rely on self-published sources, which might unduly focus on positive events and fail to properly balance their weight. Please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies by using independent, reliable sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
AI has trowelled on a thick layer of promotional wording on to this résumé. Subject looks to be notable, but it needs a human to write this.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

@ChrysGalley Thanks for the detailed review. I don’t have any connection to the subject. You’re right, I did make it sound a bit promotional, so I’ll work on rewriting it in a more neutral and encyclopedic way. I really appreciate the feedback. It definitely helped me understand where I went wrong. The Galactic force (talk) 11:54, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
