Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

- (Non-administrator comment) This appeal has broken formatting, normally I'd fix it for you but I have several good reasons not to. Aside from the most obvious one, I don't want to let you waste more of the volunteer admins time.
- Wikipedia is run by normal people who take time out of their lives to try to make this website better - just random people from all over the world who choose to spend their valuable spare time here.
- They could be playing with their kids, studying, playing games etc. but they instead choose to work together on this massive collaborative project.
- I'm not going to let you waste their time because you're bored and can't think of something else to do. Blue Sonnet (talk) 00:30, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

- I wrote this myself and you should only submit unblock appeals from your original account. Appeals from sockpuppets are almost always rejected. How have I ruined your career? Blue Sonnet (talk) 00:48, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- One problem I don't know the password to that original account I only know the name and I wasn't preferring to you directly but I was referring to the people that have ruined my career Thedevilif (talk) 00:49, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

- Hookay, well if your original appeal was genuine I'd have suggested that you explain that calmly and clearly, following the guidance at Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks.
- You would have had to demonstrate an understanding of why your original account was blocked and what you should have done instead, to prove that you won't just do the same thing again if you were unblocked.
- Instead, you created a new sockpuppet account, made the same errors as before, got found out, created another, made the same errors, got found out, created another, submitted an insincere & frivolous appeal and now you're doing... this.
- I'm afraid that this outcome is a consequence of your own actions and no-one else's.
- If you choose to take this seriously in future, please read the guide I've posted and take time to understand what's happened and why.
- You will not be unblocked until you can show you can be trusted to source correctly and not sockpuppet to get around your block.
- Right now I think you've breached the Wikipedia:3X rule and are formally banned from Wikipedia. This means you've put yourself in a position where the Wikipedia:Standard offer is your best route forward.
- I'm sorry it got to this stage, but if it was a simple case of a forgotten password that doesn't need three sockpuppet accounts to fix it - you could just have followed the process for forgotten passwords or asked someone for help.
- You didn't do that and now we're here. "Here" involves you being banned and needing to follow the Standard offer. If you choose to continue to sock instead, the cycle will just go on and on, stressing you and everyone else out too - I strongly advise against doing this. - I am also announcing I am just going to leave Wikipedia and end up on a different wiki platform that I trust more than this named miraes my best spelling of the wiki platform that I currently actually am on but I'm not currently using under a different name which I have already tried using on Wikipedia and got banned on and I also want all the accounts deleted banished to the shadow realm Thedevilif (talk) 01:17, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

- Accounts can't be deleted once they've been created, but I do hope that you stay away from Wikipedia for at least six months and submit a genuine appeal if you want to come back in future. Choose the next oldest account and explain what happened and why you're not appealing from the original. Good luck! Blue Sonnet (talk) 01:20, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- unfortunately since I've lost the password to every single account I've ever created on this platform I have to create a new one in six months and if that gets banned I'm going to give the reason why I can't use the original account which is going to be simple I lost password and why I got the account banned in the first place was because I was a newbie who didn't know what Wikipedia was the earliest count I though know about I also lost the password of but it is (redacted) if in the next 6 months I can get that account back and then vanish the account and then change the name of the account again I'm cleared Thedevilif (talk) 01:39, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- You can't vanish accounts.
- You can clearly access this one, so in the unlikely event that you've lost the password for the half-dozen other accounts you've created you can appeal here.
- Don't create any new accounts.
- Come back to this one in six months if it's the only one you can access, and submit an appeal after following the guide I've given above. It would have to be a good, sincere appeal with proof that you won't cause further problems if you're unblocked.
- That's the only path left for you. Blue Sonnet (talk) 03:18, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks but it's unlikely I will ever use this account again because of bad connotations associated with it I'm going to wait out the storm and never use it again because what's the point of having an account if you can't edit anything Thedevilif (talk) 04:56, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, just please don't create any new accounts - you'll just end up making those six months last even longer! There are people who've been sockpuppeting for decades and I don't want you to be one of them.
- Read but don't edit, ok? Blue Sonnet (talk) 04:59, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Actually I do remember why the original account space brain XT got banned it was because of unsourced content which I actually tried to stop adding unsourced content to articles on the next few accounts and I have even been stopping the use of unsourced content in some of my favorite articles Thedevilif (talk) 05:05, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

It's really encouraging that you understand the original problem, so make sure to pay attention to sources when you read articles so you can learn how they work.
It might also be a good idea to explore using Simple English Wikipedia (I don't think you're banned there).
You can keep this account active by using it there, it's very similar to English Wikipedia except it uses simple words and phrases so it's easy to understand.
You can spend the next few months editing there, learning the basics and building up a history of good & productive editing.
Then, if you feel like you've learned enough & feel like you want to come back here, you can show everyone that you are a great editor now and will be an asset to this project.
Being able to go "look, I'm a great editor over there, so you can trust me over here" can completely change the decision on an appeal, because actions speak louder than words - I can't overstate how much this helps a case.
Does that sound like a good idea? You get to keep editing, you keep this account active, you learn how to become a great editor and you also vastly increase the chance of a successful future appeal! Just a suggestion but I hope you consider it, it's win-win!
Just sign in with this account at https://simple.wikipedia.org if you're interested - totally up to you, of course. Blue Sonnet (talk) 06:45, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Bear in mind that Simple Wiki has a "one strike" rule if you're blocked/banned elsewhere - they'll do their best to help & support you, but if they think you're causing too many problems then the margin is stricter than for completely new editors.
- You get a chance at a fresh start, but they consider you to have already been pre-warned at the original project (here).
- One last thing before I start work - consider using a password manager like LastPass, I use this all the time.
- You only have to remember the login for the app, then the app will create strong passwords for you and remember all your login details for anything you enter (email, socials, Wikipedia) - it'll even fill them in for you automatically if you like, or set it up to use a fingerprint instead of login. Blue Sonnet (talk) 06:58, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- I already have an account on a completely different wiki platform separate from Wikipedia but when I entered simple wiki and decided to research for ESPN I found not one but two problems first out of date information second vandalism Thedevilif (talk) 13:59, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
