ChrysGalley (talk) 08:14, 9 November 2025 (UTC)- Thank you for the new article, now added to mainspace. It's not a big problem but the sourcing was heavily from one site, with only a little from the Meath newspapers. It may be a bit better to try and balance that a bit more, otherwise it could query the point of the article. Whereas if it was more of a mash up then clearly your work as editor becomes more obvious, I feel. Thanks again. ChrysGalley (talk) 08:22, 9 November 2025 (UTC)

ChrysGalley (talk) 18:04, 13 November 2025 (UTC)Future tense for past events?
Hi. And sorry. But I have to ask. Is there a particular reason that you use the future tense to refer to things that occurred in the past? Like you did here? And elsewhere?
I dunno if you're taking your cues from the older/outdated (and other frankly less-than-ideal) titles linked from the Meath IFC championships (by year) template (many of which were created by a disruptive and now-blocked contributor). But please don't create new titles based on those malformed articles. Many of which (inappropriately) use/used the future or present tense to refer to things that happened decades ago. Or a century ago.
To confirm, and I feel weird even having to state this, things that happened in the past should be described using the past tense. Not the present, conditional or future tense. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 20:53, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
