RfD relisting
Please slow down on relisting at RfD, you're relisting discussions unnecessarily. Note that per WP:RGUIDE: If a good-faith RfD nomination proposes to delete a redirect and has no discussion after at least 7 days, the default result is delete.
All those film award discussions would fall under that category. They should be deleted when an admin comes around, not relisted. Furthermore, discussions like Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2026 February 6#Collection of verse that have already been relisted twice without further participation shows that nobody else is interested in this discussion and it's ripe for closure. -- Tavix (talk) 14:52, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

The article has certainly been improved during the AfD, and the only two !votes after the relisting were both Keep. But I'm not convinced we can ignore the seven earlier Deletes. Since deletion is a possible outcome here, this AfD isn't suitable for a non-admin close. Can you please revert your close? Thanks! Owen× ☎ 00:21, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @OwenX: - the reason I closed that discussion is because though there were many delete votes they all mostly made the same points, and I felt the keep votes outweighed them, especially since after Nnev66 found sources people subsequently voted to keep on this basis. I looked through the sources myself and judged them to be appropriate to keep, but if you feel like there's still a question mark over it, then I'll revert my closure now, sorry. - Thank you! I understand why you closed it that way, and it may very well end up being closed the same way by an admin in the end. I just want to avoid the situation where the close is contested as a BADNAC. I'm sure you understand. Thank you for all your help at AfD! Owen× ☎ 00:49, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
