Your submission at Articles for creation: Ásta Sigurðardóttir (October 30)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Drmies was:
The subject is no doubt notable but there are other problems here. I signaled these in an edit summary but they were not addressed. In short, the whole thing needs an overhaul, for neutral language but also for formatting issues, I see now: dates are linked, book titles need to be italicized, there are bare URLs for some of the references, capitalization in section headings, etc. etc. And then there is the sourcing: of the first four, one is clearly acceptable (but not accessible to me), but the other three are basically just internet blurbs on questionable websites that don't add anything to what the Literary Encyclopedia already offers. And then there's a bunch of totally unsourced paragraphs. All this can be done by editing judiciously, with perhaps a few cuts.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Template:Solothurner Literaturpreis winners. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 15:45, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Right Zackmann, I must have messed up the group names -- one of them ended up invisible. Thanks for catching that! Yamato2 (talk) 15:50, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
If I had a nickel for every time I've made this mistake, I could retire and edit full time! No worries, just a friendly reminder to double check. Happy editing! Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 15:52, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Years in award navboxes

Please stop adding links such as 1973 in literature to the years in parentheses after the award winners like you have at {{Locus Award Best Short Story}} and many many others. This is WP:OVERLINK and fails WP:BIDIRECTIONAL. --woodensuperman 09:16, 20 March 2026 (UTC)

I see you've been doing it in the articles too, this is also WP:OVERLINKing. --woodensuperman 12:58, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello, thank you for pointing out my mistake,I'll keep it in mind. In the meantime, could you explain why I shouldn't split large lists into smaller ones, as I did in this template? Yamato2 (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
The decade split is arbitrary and makes the navbox larger than necessary. If the years are clearly noted then it's superfluous. --woodensuperman 10:09, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
I'll keep this in mind and split only if necessary then. Thank you. Yamato2 (talk) 15:20, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Please do not introduce {{ill}} links in navboxes. These count as external links which are not permitted in navboxes. --woodensuperman 10:38, 20 March 2026 (UTC)

I see, thank you! Yamato2 (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
