Editing

As you had a very good edit that you wanted inserted, you may well have others for the same page. I hadn't realised you don't yet have extended confirmed editing privileges to edit directly. If you have other changes you want edited in for you I may be able to help. As you probably know, there is an edit request template to use on the article's talk page (see other such requests), and the instructions for it ask you to propose the change first as you did - unlike the declined and often anonymous requests - and prior discussion can be important, especially as the only reason you have to make a request is because it is a controversial page you can't edit yourself. However, as an extended confirmed editor, many changes can be done appropriately without discussing first on the talk pages, and much more quickly and easily. If you put such edit suggestions on this talk page with an @SciberDoc I will happily see if I can do them for you.

Obviously I have to adhere particularly carefully to the relevant law, and I support the policies of Wikipedia for the factual, referenced, neutral, encyclopaedic content. Obviously, I do have my own opinions, but I am careful not to advocate them, but just provide accurate information that may help others to understand better. Any edits I do for you would appear to be mine, and I have very good reasons to be particularly careful, but judging from the edit you asked for, I may be able to do others that suit us both. For ease of quick editing, having not too many individual changes will make it quicker, so inserting a new block of text is easy, and if you are asking for many changes to existing text, it would be quicker for me to replace all of it with the fully edited version rather than to make the changes one by one. I can see you enough editing skills to show this clearly.

Best wishes, SciberDoc (talk) 15:26, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
