If you reread RedWolf's feedback at Template talk:Infobox mountain, I believe he is behaving within guidelines for talk pages. I don't perceive him accusing you of anything or assuming bad faith.

RedWolf has raised legitimate concerns, so we do not have consensus for the changes he is objecting to. I would suggest that your response to him (prominently invoking WP:AGF and saying that RedWolf is lacking in WP:AGF) is more likely to solidify his objections rather than change his mind, which is exactly the opposite of your desired outcome. — hike395 (talk) 03:05, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

Appreciate the message. At this point it seems there is nothing more to be said on this mater. I'm moving on to other infoboxes. Not interested in the politics of fighting over things like the differences between the word photo and image. You invoking WP:VOLUNTEER is completely legitimate. You certainly aren't required to work on any infobox. That infobox has been a mess ever since I was WP:BLUDGEONed into accepting very messy code to display Wikidata information. It's been very difficult to maintain for years. If you have any suggestions of how to improve it, please let me know. No such luck (at Forest of Marston Vale), though strangely the standard caption appears. I thought it might be because the infobox already has a map= but removing that param makes no difference. The mapframe will work if you do |mapframe=yes OR if you remove |map= from Forest of Marston Vale. Look at line 49 of {{Infobox forest}} for the explanation. If a map or map_image is present, OR if the Infobox is a child (embedded in another Infobox) then the mapframe does not turn on by default. BUT you can always override that by using |mapframe=yes.
