Vilmos Varjú

Hungarian shot putter From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vilmos Varjú (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈvilmoʃ ˈvɒrjuː]; 10 June 1937 17 February 1994) was a Hungarian shot putter. He competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Olympics and finished in 3rd, 13th and 8th place, respectively.[1]

Varjú won European titles in 1962 and 1966[2] and won the British AAA Championships title at the 1964 AAA Championships and 1965 AAA Championships.[3][4]
