This is a pool for predicting the date at which the number of Featured articles (as defined by the official article count presented on the Wikipedia:Featured articles) in the English Wikipedia reaches 10,000 (ten thousand). The person who comes closest to the actual date is the winner. See the official page for the current number of articles in the English Wikipedia. The current number of featured articles in Wikipedia is 6901.
This pool will be closed for entries when the English Wikipedia article count reaches 8,000 (80%), so be sure to place your guess before then. This pool opened on June 9, 2023, shortly after the FA statistic reached 6280.
