I appose this. The user did not engage in a civil discussion with me on my talk page on why did they keep removing the page I made for a village. You can read it here. 1 They also did not present any arguments when I asked them to justify their edits. Willywilly1111 (talk) 17:55, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

I have explained on my page politely that there is a commune and a village that share the same name.

They reverted my edits on the page I made for the village, that is translation from Romanian. This is the page- Răcăria, Rîșcani

Before making any edits, I asked for advice from an experienced editors about how to proceed with the page a few days ago, and did as the editor @TSventon recommended. Wikipedia:Help desk#problem with merger

Instead of having a discussion with me, after I reverted the edits, this editor made a report here as if my edits were vandalism. But he is the one who reverted my edits multiple times with no explanation..

While I have been making edits in good faith, and adding information from my research that I did on Moldovan history. I have not even finished editing the page. I opened it today, to see he made it a redirect. I asked him to explain why he did so, and he did not reply to me. There is nothing controversial in my edit.

This editor also made a baseless accusation that I "already reverted-warred across multiple articles in interactions with several editors. Warnings seem to have no effect on his aggressive approach." This is not true. I do not make many edits on the English Wikipedia. I edit in another language. This is the second page I edited.

This version was wrong. If you check, I added accurate numbers of census from this page, that reflect the official cited numbers from the national register- the only official source for this data about the population of the commune, and not village. Same information exists in Romanian Wikipedia already. Willywilly1111 (talk) 18:07, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

Please, see page that explains what a "commune" is, and provides full list of all communes in the country. There are 913 in total and all of them have separate pages: https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comunele_Republicii_Moldova

Similar example, commune Recea, located nearby the topic in question: Comuna Recea, Rîșcani (wiki ro) & Recea, Rîșcani (wiki en).

It contains 3 different villages, such as: Recea (reședința), Slobozia-Recea and Sverdiac.

I consider comments made by this editor on my page, saying that I "impose your [mine] whimsical preferences" inappropriate. I never imposed my preference anywhere, and made edits to the page that existed since at least 2012. Willywilly1111 (talk) 19:15, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

I would also like to note that this same user has removed over 1,200+ of information from the article that I created and which am still editing, citing that he is "removing unsourced material."

This is despite the fact that I have made it clear that I am in the process of adding archival citations to the article. I find this disruptive to remove half of an entire history section while another editor is editing it. Willywilly1111 (talk) 19:27, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

This is getting out of hand. I removed uncited material, as is perfectly acceptable. There was no {{inuse}} template asking others not to edit.

Willywilly1111 immediately escalated with a revert and a bogus warning.

This aggressive editing approach involving blunt reverts goes against the spirit of the project, and I seriously question whether this user is here to make a positive contribution. Biruitorul ^Talk 19:42, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

What am I escalating? I informed you that your edits were non-constructive, and politely asked to not remove anything while I am editing the page. In case you missed, I added a book published by a Moldovan university to cite the material you removed, while it was clearly visible from the page history that I am editing it at the moment.

Hello ~2026-24149-67, thanks for reporting this, but not for the revert. The edit warring of others is not a reason for reverting (and joining the edit war). WP:PREFER exists, but it's for administrators when protecting pages because that actually stops the war.
