Divisions Scope

This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the Republic of Colombia – its political subdivisions, geography, transportation, culture, history, people, and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Colombia in a fair, neutral, and accurate manner. Articles currently covered by this project can be found at Category:Colombia. Things to do

  • Add {{WikiProject Colombia|class=|importance=}} to the talk pages of all articles that fall within the scope of this project.
  • Assessment - Assessing the quality of articles and their importance to the project. Probably one of our most important activities at the start of the project and on an ongoing basis. It will help us determine which articles deserve and require the most attention from our members. (Don't know how to assess?)
  • Improve articles on the worklist to get more GA and A class articles.
  • Please gather information related to Colombia and create new stubs
  • Help standarize articles related to geo categories. For instance all the Colombian rivers, mountains and cities articles should look the same. There are WikiProjects related to these so abide by their guidelines for now.
  • Every single information related to Colombia is valuable, please try making it as accurate as possible.
  • Rivers, mountains, cities and ethnic groups may require maps to improve articles, just place {{Reqmap}} on the article's talk to request it.
  • Translate articles from the Spanish version with appropriate citations and references.
