Unfortunately, if this is deemed to be a copyright infringement, there are at least 46 other athletics articles (see Template:AthleticsAt2012SummerOlympics) and many other articles about Olympic events (e.g. Template:DivingAt2012SummerOlympics, Template:BoxingAt2012SummerOlympics, Template:TaekwondoAt2012SummerOlympics) with the same thing that will need to be addressed. • Not sure how to proceed here. Someone reverted the tag stating that it was not a copyright violation (diff), then someone else addressed the issue as though it were a copyright violation by fixing the text (diff). I'm hoping that I can get someone to offer another opinion by taking a look at the history to confirm whether or not there was an issue with copyright violation because there are many other articles with the same copy and paste.
