• Place {{Expand|date=???}} on the top of the article needing content expansion.
  • For a specific section of the article, place {{Expand section}} on the top of that section.
• You can add {{cleanup|date=???}} banner on the top of articles that require cleaning up.
• If you find a desert-related article without the project banner on its talk page, add {{Template:WikiProject Deserts}} on top of the talk page. (see instructions)
  • Avoid clustering of banners on a talk page by using {{WikiProjectBanners}}.
• If you find an article on a desert without an infobox, add {{Infobox desert}} at the top of that article. (see instructions)
  • Add {{Reqinfobox}} to talk page of the article to requiring an infobox.
• To request images:
  • Add {{Reqmap}} on the talk page of the article requiring a map.
  • Add {{Image requested}} on the talk page of the article requiring a photograph.
• If you find a desert-related article without a navbox, add {{Deserts}} at the end of that article. (see instructions)
